General Hospital Spoilers – The Wrong Pairing On The Way

It has seemed obvious since Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) first arrived on the scene out there in the woods delivering Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) baby that he was meant to be her new love interest since the Peter (Wes Ramsey) pairing became a debacle of epic proportions that can barely be described with words. He has even admitted he has a thing for her, but he admitted this to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), the woman he SHOULD have a thing for but does not.

Maxie placed Austin firmly in the friend zone after she kissed him to get him to stop asking so many questions about what really happened in the woods the night Bailey Louise was born. Then, he was removed from the friend zone when he finally remembered the truth about Maxie handing her baby to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). And he actually forgives her, despite all the lies. This is how a forced couple happens and it’s not right.

GH Spoilers – Britt Westbourne And Austin Holt Have The Right Chemistry

The chemistry we do not see between Austin and Maxie is practically smacking the audience in the face in scenes between Britt and Austin. They have an easy rapport, they can be honest and sarcastic with one another, they seem to want the same things out of life at the moment, and most of all, Britt has not been lying to Austin since the moment they met while simultaneously gaslighting him the way Maxie has.

Kelly Thiebaud and Roger Howarth play off each other well and fan reaction to them on social media has been positive. Britt has also made it clear she has a crush on the man, but knows that he wants Maxie so is trying to think nothing of it.
