According to the official press release by Hallmark, Candace Cameron Bure returns as librarian-turned-crime buff, Aurora Teagarden in the upcoming original movie. Meanwhile, Candace’s daughter, Natasha will star as her teenage self. Natasha Bure has previously been seen in the Hallmark movie, Switched for Christmas.

The plot of the movie reveals that when Aurora Teagarden and her best friend, Sally Allison were teenagers, they entered the infamous “haunted” Crenshaw Mansion on a dare. However, much to their shock, they discover a dead body in a secret room in the mansion.

Fast forward 20 years, and Aurora’s mother, Aida has bought the Crenshaw Mansion. She has plans to renovate and sell the mansion and totally dismisses the notion that it is haunted. However, the more time they spend in the mansion, the more convinced Aurora is that the dead body they found all those years ago didn’t die by accident.

Now someone, or something, doesn’t want Aurora, Nick and their friends in the Real Murders Club digging into the past. This is due to the fact that there are a lot more secrets to be uncovered in the Crenshaw Mansion, secrets worth protecting at all costs.

As always, Candace Cameron Bure (Fuller House) returns as Aurora Teagarden herself. Meanwhile, Natasha Bure (Switched for Christmas) stars as her teenage self. Other returning stars include Niall Matter (Eureka) who plays Nick, Marilu Henner (Taxi, Evening Shade) who plays Aida, and Lexa Doig (Chucky) as Sally Allison.
