According to reports, the British monarch laid down the law telling them, “enough is enough,” when it comes to divorce. According to a Buckingham Palace insider, “Both Princes William and Harry have been in no doubt that when they marry, it’s for keeps. The Queen is the head of the Church and so from a point of principle she is opposed to royal divorces.”

The insider added that the queen has watched as her sister Princess Margaret, and her three eldest children unwound their marital vows. Specifically, Princess Anne divorced Captain Mark Phillips in 1992, Prince Charles divorced Princess Diana in 1996, and Prince Andrew divorced Sarah Ferguson in 1996.

According to the insider, “She now feels, to put it bluntly, that enough is enough. She does not want to name names, but she is adamant that there are going to be no further royal divorces during her reign.”
