The Cambridges and Sussexes To Split Up Their Foundation This Week

Some people are calling this a royal divorce, while others think that this is only the beginning to what looks like a huge split down the middle between the House of Cambridge and the House of Sussex.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Pulling Back From The Royal Foundation

There are new reports that say Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are pulling back from the Royal Foundation, which is the charitable initiative that they ran with Prince William and Meghan Markle.

According to Page Six, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to part ways because of a reported royal rift between the Sussexes and the Cambridges. While Buckingham Palace has made no comments about the supposed feud between the two royal couples, there’s been a lot of tabloid speculation that things aren’t looking so good behind the scenes for Harry, Meghan, William and Kate.

Prince Harry Didn’t Like Relationship Advice From Prince William

That’s because Harry apparently didn’t appreciate his brother William telling him that he was moving too fast in his relationship with Meghan back in 2016. The couple got engaged in November of 2017 after only a year of dating and tied the knot in May of 2018.

And now the foundation will continue without Harry and Meghan, as they plan to make an announcement at a board meeting scheduled for this week. One source told the site, “It’s not an easy time right now at the foundation . . . Everybody is massively stressed ahead of this meeting.”

Today The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined The Queen and members of The Royal Family at the annual Trooping the Colour, to celebrate Her Majesty’s official birthday. Trooping the Colour orginated from traditional preparations for battle and has commemorated the birthday of the sovereign for more than 250 years. In the 18th century, guards from the royal palaces regularly assembled to “troop" colours or flags down the rank, so they could be seen and recognised by the soldiers. In 1748, it was announced this parade would also mark the Sovereign’s official birthday. Trooping the Colour is performed by regiments of the British and Commonwealth armies for The Queen’s birthday parade, allowing them to pay a personal tribute to Her Majesty. Today over 1400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians came together on Horse Guards Parade in London in a great display of military precision, horsemanship and fanfare. The parade concludes with a 41-gun salute fired by The King’s Troop, following which The Queen leads members of The Royal Family back to the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the Royal Air Force flypast display. Royal Foundation Reviewing Its Structures

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already moved out of Kensington Palace and have settled their new family at Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle. However, Queen Elizabeth has made it pretty clear that she expects the Sussexes to keep their offices and staff based at Buckingham Palace and not at Windsor Castle.

A spokesperson said: “We announced earlier this year the Royal Foundation was reviewing its structures . . . Any announcement regarding this review will be made in due course.”

So far Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the split or the rumored rift between them. It’s also been noted that the Cambridges have been scheduling separate royal engagements from the Sussexes.
