Coronation Street Spoilers: Adam Barlow Gives Up After Lydia’s Hell

“Coronation Street” spoilers have teased a devastating moment for Adam Barlow as he’s forced to give up something close to his heart after Lydia’s revenge plans come to fruition.

Adam (Sam Robertson) has been through his darkest moments since a person from the past, his ex Lydia Chambers came and haunted him after their brief romance in the university. Adam hasn’t even recognized who she was when they met again on the cobbles which triggered the sinister Lydia all the more to advance his revenge.

Befriending his wife Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien) after working with her at the factory, Lydia was able to penetrate into their lives to learn about their activities which gave her the opportunity to manipulate the situations to her favor.

Sarah was adamant when Lydia claimed she and Adam have been having an affair behind her back but when the newcomer was able to provide “false” evidence, Sarah dumped the solicitor and trashed his things outside the flat.

A desperate Adam comes to Lydia’s flat to confront her on Coronation Street, but it’s no good as he’s being set up by the villain by thrashing her own flat to make it appear like Adam is harassing her. Later this week, Adam will have to face the authorities and insists he’s innocent but will they believe him?

Adam loses support from the important people around him including his uncle Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) thinking that Adam lied to him at times when he briefly dated Lydia.

According to Coronation Street spoilers, Carla Barlow (Alison King) also gets word of the news, and gives Adam a hard time, despite her history of cheating with him. No matter how strong he claims that these are all Lydia’s games, everyone turns a deaf ear to him.

Adam has none except his colleague Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) and although he tries to be understanding, he worries for their business when a client changes his mind, having read the damning online reviews about Adam.

Adam is left with no choice when he is informed that the Solicitors Regulation Authority has received a report about him, which puts his career in jeopardy for he could be axed from his position. Rather than getting shamed, Adam resigns from his job and tells Imran he’ll stay away in a while to not cause any more trouble.

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Can Adam Barlow Redeem Himself? Or Will He Accept Defeat?

Lydia’s portrayer Rebecca Ryans is expectant of a big backlash from Corrie viewers against her character and admitted that “it’s always quite scary.”

“But it’s part of it and it’s great that they get so involved with it and they really take this storyline seriously,” she told Digital Spy. “For that way, it’s good but I’m not sure if I’m ready for it all to kick off!” she added.
