When it comes to the princesses and the duchesses of social media, it’s without a doubt that their posts and their interactions with fans differ completely. As a matter of fact, many people have noticed that Princess Eugenie is someone who likes to post more personal photos of her day-to-day life while the Cambridges and the Sussexes use social media to help promote their charity work. Here’s what you need to know.
It’s without a doubt that social media has definitely helped us get an inside look to the lives of some of our favorite royals. And while their lives might look like an open book to some, that’s not always the case. For example, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Kate Middleton like to highlight and showcase the charities that are near and dear to their heart. Princess Eugenie, meanwhile, shares the special moments in her life along with all of the important people in them.
Andy Barr, who is the founder and CEO of 10Yetis.co.uk recently told Express.co.uk, “There is simply no denying that in this day and age social media is giving us greater access into the private lives and ‘realness’ of our favorite celebrities; be it Hollywood movie stars, British soap actors or even the notoriously private and isolated members of the Royal family.
The Royal Photographic Society is one of the world's oldest photographic societies, founded in 1853 with the objective of promoting the art and science of photography.

In a pre-social media world we would only have seen a heavily manipulated and media-friendly version of how those in public eye lived their lives, all very closely monitored by PR’s, agents and managers all being paid to keep scandals and negative stories away from prying eyes.”
He added, “Now though, with celebrities able to communicate and engage with millions of fans at the touch of a button, we can see them at their most vulnerable and honest.”
With that said, it’s without a doubt that fans would love to see much more of their favorite royals on social media. Even though we often get a peak of what their lives consist of, it only tells one little portion of a much bigger story. Tell us, do you follow any of the royals on Instagram? And if so, which royal account is your favorite?
