The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke And Stephanie Forrester Were Rivals

Brooke and Stephanie were rivals when Brooke married Eric Forrester (John McCook) – because of Stephanie’s never having approved of Brooke for either son, Ridge or Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) she had a choice nickname for her! Even though Brooke grew to respect Stephanie and continually be irked that Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) portrait replaced Stephanie’s in the Forrester mansion, the two of them could hardly be considered friends or even friendly in-laws!

Longtime viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will recall that Stephanie even tried to kill Brooke several times, choking her with a phone cord, even so, Brooke wept when Stephanie died! Some viewers may find it odd that Brooke would remember Stephanie because she regrets losing Ridge, and that would be understandable; but perhaps she’s remembering her because her granddaughter Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) is acting just like her!

B&B Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Finnegan Doesn’t Approve Of Brooke Forrester For Her Father

Brooke might draw parallels between Steffy and Stephanie; Steffy doesn’t approve of Brooke for her father any more than Stephanie did; Brooke feared when Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) returned that she’d lose Ridge to her. Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful can see how Steffy’s been somewhat manipulating her parents back together even before New Year’s Eve happened, because she is the one who begged her mother to move back to LA! Steffy’s also been bad mouthing Brooke the whole time as well and now has proven to Ridge that she’ll do nothing but continue to hurt him – like grandmother, like granddaughter, and she’s the one who pulled the security tapes of New Year’s Eve! Steffy is every bit as determined and stubborn as her grandmother was, and Brooke knows she’ll be pushing a remarriage between her parents as soon as a divorce from Ridge can be arranged!

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – At The End, However Stephanie Forrester And Brooke Forrester Became Close Friends

Perhaps Steffy is denying what really happened, even though she witnessed it take place; at the end, Stephanie and Brooke became close friends. Brooke remembers that Steffy is acting like Stephanie used to before she became ill with lung cancer – Brooke became Stephanie’s caretaker and she died in her arms after gifting her with a ring.

They went to Big Bear to the family cabin, and as Eric had to attend to an emergency board meeting, the two former rivals then sat on a bench overlooking the lake as both waited for Eric’s return. Brooke remembers the song she sang to Stephanie as she died in her arms, and wonders if she made a mistake letting Ridge go. She’s not so sure that Steffy will ever accept her or they’ll ever become close like she did with her grandmother in the end, however!
