Law & Order: SVU Carisi And Rollins Take Relationship To The Next Level

Law & Order: SVU spoilers and updates tease that Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) and Dominick Carisi (Peter Scanavino) took their relationship up a notch. In the recent episode of the show, Carisi and Amanda meet his mother and it seems like the strict Catholic matriarch has given a thumbs up to their relationship.

Rollins and Carisi became partners in Law & Order: SVU season 16. At first, they didn’t agree on many things but they eventually became close friends. Viewers noted that Carisi was drawn to Rollins. However, the latter had her hands full with all her family drama so she didn’t have much time to get herself into a serious romantic relationship.

But in the season finale of season 22, the pair were no longer able to hide their feelings and ended up kissing each other. Rollins and Carisi were officially a couple during the season premiere of season 23. They’ve had their issues in their professional and personal lives but they managed to resolve them eventually.

Law & Order Spoilers – Amanda Rollins Meets Dominick Carisi’s Parents

In the 15th episode of Law & Order: SVU Season 23, Carisi took Rollins to meet his parents. Rollins has always had problems with her family so meeting Carisi’s mom and dad is a huge and uncomfortable step for her.

Carisi’s mother, Serafina Carisi (Beverly D’Angelo) knows who Rollins is but it was her first time to meet her personally. Aside from Carisi’s mom, Rollins also met his niece Mia (Ryann Shane) and they all shared a sumptuous dinner.

There were instances when things got too uncomfortable especially when Serafina asked about Rollin’s ex and daughters. But as their conversation progressed, it was obvious that Carisi’s mom was on board with their relationship.

Carisi confirmed this while talking to his dad over the phone when he said that “mom said that she liked Amanda. The latter was pretty ecstatic about it, too.

Now that Carisi’s mom approves of Amanda, does this mean the couple will take things more seriously? Will this lead to wedding bells later on? Fans were happy to see this positive development in their relationship. In a Reddit forum, one fan said that “Compared to other Law and Order ships, Rollisi is moving pretty well.”

Meanwhile, fans have to wait for another two weeks since the show won’t be getting a new episode during that period of time. The next episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, April 7.
