British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry has always come in a close second to his brother William in many ways. First off he is the “spare” while William is the heir. Secondly, his exploits have been wilder than that of his older brother, at least the ones publicized. Here are four times Harry has been caught out being a bad boy.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Dressed Like A Nazi

In 2005 Harry thought it would be funny to dress up as a Nazi for Halloween. No one laughed. He went to a party in what passed for a Nazi uniform and it was appalling. Harry soon apologized: “I am very sorry if I caused any offense or embarrassment to anyone. It was a poor choice of costume and I apologize.”

Prince Harry has been open about his party hearty ways. In a way he had no choice, as he was caught out many times acting inappropriately while under the influence of something other than his natural poor judgment.

An authority no less than global news reporting sensation Katie Couric said that during an interview of the court jester, that he smelled like a boozy ashtray. Lovely.

In his younger days he was, “frequently spotted leaving trendy London nightclubs, getting in fights, and smoking cigarettes (not illegal but definitely gave him a bad boy vibe),” according to NickiSwift.

The penultimate bad boy escapade for many was Harry getting caught, “playing strip poker in Las Vegas and getting so drunk he fell into a pool fully clothed.”

Later, in 2002 his father Prince Charles, “allegedly caught the teenager smoking weed and sent him to a rehab facility for a day to understand how the other half lives, per The Guardian.” Was he scared straight? C’mon, in less than 24 hours? As an intervention that would be about as impactful as, well, as nothing.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Was Insensitive To Another Culture

Following his ill-advised Halloween costume disaster, Prince Harry joined the army where among other things, he finally learned how to make a bed. He seemed to be straightening up until he was caught on audio, “using a racial slur to refer to a Pakistani soldier.” Again, he apologized for his dunderheadedness but it was diluted when the, “palace released a statement claiming that — while definitely inappropriate — Harry had only referred to the soldier as his “Paki friend” in an endearing way.”

Later, “a video was released that showed him flying a plane and referring to someone as a “rag-head,” definitely not in an endearing way. The palace claimed that incident was also, “a misunderstanding and assured Harry was talking about an Iraqi insurgent, not a British citizen. As if that’s a valid excuse.”

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Liked To Fight

Teenaged Prince Harry earned a reputation as a “mean drunk” due to fights with paparazzi and bar patrons he hung around.

In 2004 he got into a physical fight with the paparazzi outside a London night club and his spin docs tried to say he was, “attacked by the paps while trying to sneak out of the club unnoticed.”

“In pushing the camera away, it’s understood that a photographer’s lip was cut.” Except that the photographer in question remembered the incident differently: Harry knowingly and deliberately attacked him.
