Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan’s Brand Needs Queen’s Fairy Dust To Survive

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be in need of some spit and shine if they are ever to regain whatever traction they once had with the public. Gone are the days when an unsuspecting public talked of the “Markle Sparkle.” Today her brand is summed up in two words: Princess Pinocchio.

Harry has fared no better, all of his own making. He is embroiled in his nth legal action against the man, the machine, the deus ex machina, whatever boogeyman he sees when he peers out into the daylight.

Ironically, after two years worth of rants against his family, they both swallowed their pride and had a minutes long visit with Queen Elizabeth on Wednesday. They were in the neighborhood, on the way to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games. Harry didn’t bother to go to his grandfather’s memorial last month, but he might have a good reason: no filming allowed.

For that matter he has a bio coming out in fall, or at least he has threatened as much, and it is expected to paint him in the most flattering of lights (think Dutch masters) while his family is predicted to be portrayed under a harsh light (think Picasso).

As such, this is one couple who could use some “fairy dust” according to one royal expert who sees their brand in decay, a victim of their treacly antics. Like trashing his family to a gobsmacked Oprah Winfrey. Or Meghan squatting in the street in a red dress and heels to please Ellen DeGeneres. Or how about Meghan showing up for a photo op at a struggling Harlem school dripping in bling and fancy clothes? The list goes on

All of this is to say that when royal expert Ingrid Seward says that they need some of, “Queen Elizabeth’s fairy dust as their brand begins to decay,” she’s not wrong.

The Markle’s Are Decaying?

Seward told Good Morning Britain of Queen Elizabeth’s patience, “There’s no way that she would want, however much Harry and Meghan might’ve hurt her, it’s just not in her makeup to hold that kind of grudge. It is her grandson, and she’s very, very fond of him. Same goes for Prince Charles.”

She added, “What would be the point of carrying on a sort of no-speaks with your son when he is offering an olive branch. It’s not ideal but it’s symbiotic – they basically need the Queen’s fairy dust, if you like, for their brand.” That and a dozen cameras capturing their every cringe move
