When Calls The Heart spoilers and updates tease that Erin Krakow responded to some fans who were upset about Lori Loughlin’s exit from the show. The actress said that the latter “will always be a part of WCTH.”

It’s been a while since fans last saw Loughlin on the show. She exited WTCH back in 2019, midway through the show’s sixth season. Her character went home to care for her ailing mother and has not returned to Hope Valley ever since.

The recent mention of her character, Abigail Stanton drew mixed reactions from viewers. Despite her absence, Abigail remained a part-owner of Abigail’s café until the recent episode, which aired on April 17. In the episode, it was revealed that Abigail has decided to sell her shares of the business to Joseph and Minnie Canfield (Viv Leacock and Natasha Burnett).

It’s been three years since Loughlin’s last appearance and some fans are still reeling from her exit. That’s why the mention of Abigail and her decision to sell her shares has left some viewers frustrated.

When Calls The Heart – Erin Krakow Responds To Critic

In a tweet, Krakow, who plays Elizabeth Thornton on the show, responded to a user who criticized the show. The actress said that Loughlin will always be a part of When Calls The Heart even if she’s no longer appearing in any of the episodes.

“As far as I’m concerned, Lori/Abigail will always be a part of WCTH.” Krakow tweeted.

Even though Loughlin won’t be returning to When Calls The Heart, the actress made an appearance on the When Calls Hope Christmas special in 2021. The holiday special was featured on GAC Family.

In the episode, Abigail traveled to Brookfield to drop off a child at an orphanage. During that time, she dreamed of Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing) who had a message for his wife, Elizabeth. Jack’s message hasn’t been addressed in WCTH but it’ll be addressed in the future according to showrunner John Tinker.
