Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday August 9: Lola Deals With Chaos at the Party – Summer Gets A Warning – Adam Reunites with Connor

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday August 9th indicate that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) catfight disrupts Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) party, while a father/son reunion takes place with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

At the rooftop party, the catfight between Abby and Summer continues to heat up, as Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) try to stop it. Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) confrontation with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) leads them to getting into a physical fight.

An upset Lola hops onstage and gets on the microphone to plead with everyone to stop. She asks that everyone put their differences aside so they can have a fun night. Mariah joins Lola onstage and makes another toast about Kyle and Lola. The guests applaud the speech, then get back to the fun.

After her toast, Mariah issues a warning to Summer, while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) praises Lola for jumping into action. Abby apologizes for the chaos and Devon says he’ll have to do damage control to keep the media from finding out.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) takes Kyle aside and offers him advice on how to deal with Theo. Meanwhile, Lola is chatting with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), who welcome her into the family. Summer is upset as she witnesses the special moment.

Later Jack reprimands Summer for her behavior and tells her to be careful because Theo is trouble. Jack then talks with Kyle and says he’ll go to Miami to convince Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) to come back for the wedding. Summer watches Kyle and Lola dancing, and becomes upset. She decides to leave with Theo, however their elevator becomes stuck. While waiting for help in the elevator, the two make love.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson’s Advice To Nate Hastings

Devon is dancing with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) when he cuts their date short to meet with an artist. When Devon leaves, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) joins Elena to talk about Abby. Elena tells him the best thing is not to chase Abby, and let her come to him. Later Nate blows off Abby to drive Elena home, Elena assures him the plan will work and that Abby will come around.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) meets with his sister Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at Society, where he discusses the incident in the park with Adam. As they’re chatting, Adam walks in. The two discuss Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) bringing Connor home. Nick then talks about Adam telling Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) the truth about his paternity. Nick is worried about the effect it’ll have on Christian. Victoria says she may have an idea to help him.

Victoria goes over to Adam’s table and warns him his actions could ruin the custody case because he’s causing stress for Christian. Adam informs Victoria he reported the assault and wants Nick to face jail time. Nick sends Rey a message asking if he can meet him at Society. Rey arrives and Nick talks about the fight with Adam. Rey says that he wants to help Nick, but he also has to follow the rules.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Promises He Won’t Win

Victoria rejoins Nick, who promises that Adam’s not going to win. She says that Adam was a good father to Connor and maybe seeing him will get Adam to drop the custody suit for Christian. Nick worries it could backfire and Adam will try harder to get custody of both boys.

At Nick’s home, Chelsea and Connor are discussing their new living arrangements in Genoa City. Connor says he misses Calvin Boudreau (John Burke). Chelsea decides it’s time to tell Connor the truth about Adam being alive. Connor becomes excited learning Adam is alive and in Genoa City, then pleads with his mother to see him. Adam arrives home and notices a call from Chelsea that he chooses to ignore.

Chelsea tries to convince Connor he can see his dad tomorrow. Connor worries that Adam doesn’t want to be his dad and that’s why he let him believe he was dead. An upset Connor goes to his room, while Chelsea calls Nick to inform him she’s going to let Adam see Connor.

Chelsea arrives at Adam’s house with Connor, who happily greets his dad. Father and son catch up, and Adam thanks Chelsea for bringing Connor over. After a while, Chelsea says it’s time to go, but Connor begs her to let him spend the night. She agrees and says that she’s also going to be staying.
