Well, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) reeled in his second choice on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) apparently can’t help herself, as numerous Genoa City, Wisconsin, residents have said.

Knowing that he needed something to replace the compromising photos that Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) made sure were eliminated, Adam thought on his feet. He texted Sharon and then pushed every one of Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) buttons just prior to her arrival. Then, she appeared at the appealing, outdoor Chancellor Park setting.

Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) first-born son punched Adam a few times, drawing blood. Yes, the heavy bag training the ‘Moustache’ taught Nick through the years paid dividends. But something else worked. Adam’s plan to have a witness present for Nick’s physical attack on him.

The restart of Sharon and Adam began in Las Vegas, Nevada. Victor’s request to Sharon, that she help him unlock Adam’s memory, didn’t spark recall. However, Adam instinctively trusted her and agreed to return home.

It was challenging to know at that time if Y&R was simply using Sharon as a bridge. Was that character utilized because Melissa Claire Egan’s (Chelsea Boudreau) hadn’t yet returned to GC, or were Sharon’s one-time feelings being reignited? The later point proved true.

Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers – Staking Claim To Christian First

Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) is Adam’s biological son, but the boy thinks of Nick as his father. That’s the crux of the custody case.

Initially, Adam just wanted contact with Christian. Nick’s resistance to that natural request led to a full block of access, which set Adam off.

Say whatever one will about history, or now. Why would Adam not be allowed to at least have contact with the boy who is his biological child? A negative answer is based upon emotional responses. A positive answer might be too logical.

Adam’s claim to Christian does have a legal basis, but there are unusual factors to consider. These include the colorful backstory of the character Grossman is now playing.

The likelihood that Adam will simply bide his time until October, when the Christian custody ruling is set to come down, is minimal. Adam will act as soon as he learns that Chelsea has Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) in GC and at Nick’s home no less.

Chelsea’s marital status is fluid, due to Calvin Boudreau’s (John Burke) death and Adam’s undead status. So she can’t possibly have a legitimate reason to keep Connor away from his father, who never requested a split from his most recent wife and immediately sought contact with her and Connor after his memory was restored.
