Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday August 14: Adam Receives A Restraining Order, Jack and Ashley Talk Business

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday August 14th indicate that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) vows revenge after receiving a restraining order, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) discuss ideas for their business merger, and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) receives an opportunity.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Ashley comes home

Ashley arrives back in Genoa City, where her first stop is the Abbott mansion. Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) greets her mother and they have a long chat. Abby tells her mother about the business deal with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Ashley voices her concerns, but Abby says she can handle Phyllis. The discussion then turns to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Ashley says she’s happy the two are dating, but Abby says she’s not sure where things are heading for her and Nate.

Later Kyle, Lola, and Jack arrive to welcome Ashley home. Talk turns to business as Jack announces that he and Ashley are going to merge their companies. The two are trying to come up with a name that honors their later father John Abbott (Jerry Douglas). They’re discussing possible names when Kyle suggests using Jabot. Ashley and Jack decide to just use Jabot as the name.

Nate arrives later, and her and Abby sneak away to talk. Abby says she understands if he wants to break up and find someone who can be more committed to him. Nate says he doesn’t know why Abby is holding back and suggests they take it one day at a time. Abby asks him if he’ll be her date for the wedding and he agrees to take her.

The Abbott clan gathers in the living room for a toast to Kyle and Lola. After the celebration, Jack is preparing to leave for his flight to Miami. He tells Lola he isn’t coming back without her mother Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue).

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Victor and Adam’s showdown

Jack stops by Newman Enterprises to see Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Their conversation is cut short when Victor receives a phone call, he asks the caller “when?” After hanging up the phone, Victor asks Jack if he came by to check on him. Jack wants to know how Victor is after his spell, Victor claims he’s fine. Their discussion then turns to Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Jack remarks there’s hope that things can work out. Victor says he doubts it. Jack comments that Adam is drowning and it’s up to Victor to help him. Victor says he’s tried numerous times to save Adam, but it’s no use, he’s done with him.

Meanwhile, Adam is at home when he’s served with the restraining order and papers that he can no longer see Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen). Adam calls up Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and orders him to fix it.

Adam storms into Victor’s office to confront him about the restraining order. Victor said Adam left him no choice and he did it because he doesn’t want Christian to suffer. Adam brings up their history and how Victor abandoned him and let another man raise him. Victor says Adam was a young boy and didn’t want to put him through a custody battle, he tells Adam that he’s hurting Christian by going through with the custody suit.

The two get into a heated argument and Adam says he’s sorry if he turned out to be a disappointment. Adam then says maybe if Victor was part of his life growing up things would be different. Victor says he’s tired of giving Adam second chances and says there’s nothing left for him Genoa City. Adam says he’s not going anywhere, and Victor warns him he’s making a mistake. Adam vows he’ll get his sons, and he’ll take down Victor and the rest of the Newmans.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Elena receives an opportunity

Elena comes home to Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse. She discusses being in the park when Christian went missing. She voices her concerns about Adam living across the hall, but Devon says there’s nothing to worry about. Later Devon is leaving for a meeting when Adam stops him. He wants to know if Elena mentioned anything about the incident in the park. Devon warns Adam to keep Elena out of his mess.

Adam talks about the restraining order and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) lying to him. Devon isn’t buying his act and says the only victim in this situation is Christian. Devon talks about his past with Neil Winters (Kristoff St John) and Tucker McCall (Stephen Nichols), and says that a child can never have too many people that love them. Devon advises Adam to compromise, then inquires about the restraining order. Adam realizes Nick isn’t the person behind it.

Later Elena and Nate meet at Crimson Lights, where she inquires about Abby. He says he’s taking Elena’s advice, and the plan seems to be working. Nate then tells Elena about a residency at the hospital that she’d be perfect for. He tells her to take time to think about the decision, but her mind is already made up, she accepts the offer.

Devon arrives home and tells Elena about the conversation with Adam. Elena tells him she’s interviewing for the residency program. Devon is surprised, but offers his support to Elena and tells her she’ll be an amazing doctor. Elena leaves for her interview and when she comes back, she tells Devon she got the job. Elena is showing offer her doctor’s coat when she and Devon begin to kiss.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Kyle and Lola reaffirm their love

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) arrives at his apartment to find Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) upset. She tells him about the letter from her father. She says she’s worried about shutting him out, but also doesn’t want to be hurt by him again. Lola vows not to focus on the past and to concentrate on the future. Kyle promises not to do anything to disappoint her, and the two kiss.
