The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday August 13: Chelsea Learns of Her Mother’s Scam, Lola Hears From Her Father

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday August 13th indicate that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will learn about her mother Anita Lawson’s (Catherine Bach) scam, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) receives a letter from her dad, and Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) will cause panic for the Newman family.

At her apartment, Lola is chatting with her brother Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). She is busy cooking and Rey notices she’s nervous. Lola admits cooking helps calm her down, but says she isn’t nervous about the wedding. Lola says she’s excited to be marrying Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and talks about their honeymoon. Their discussion then turns to their mother Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue). Lola says that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is flying to Miami to convince her to come to the wedding.

Rey fears that she’ll bring Adrian to the ceremony. Lola is sorting the mail and discovers a letter from her father. The letter includes Adrian well wishes, and he also says he and Celeste aren’t getting back together. Adrian also says he wishes he could walk her down the aisle, but respects her decision for not including him in the wedding. Lola starts to cry as she worries about kicking her father out of her life. She asks Rey if she should invite Adrian to the wedding, and Rey says it’s her decision.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Wants To Bargain

Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) leaves Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse just as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) arrives. Phyllis inquires why Devon’s now interested in the Grand Phoenix when he turned down her proposal. Devon says he had concerns about her deal, then informs Phyllis he decided not to take Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) offer.

Phyllis tries to convince Devon to purchase the hotel from Adam and sell it to her. Devon reminds her she doesn’t have the money to purchase the property. Phyllis says buying the hotel is her redemption, a life lesson Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) taught other. Devon becomes angry at Phyllis for using Neil’s memory for her business deal. Phyllis apologizes and talks about how it’s been a tough year, but Devon still refuses to work with her.

At Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) place, Anita talks about how Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is upset that Chelsea and Adam aren’t getting back together. Chelsea switches the topic to Anita refusing to take the money Chelsea offered. Anita says Daryl Tulane (Gordon Thompson) told her about the inheritance, and that Calvin Boudreau (John Burke) left Anita a bequest.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Newman Is Suspicious

Chelsea is suspicious of her mother’s story and Anita confesses Calvin didn’t leave her anything. Chelsea realizes Anita stole money from Calvin, but Anita tries to say that Calvin was involved in shady business dealings. Chelsea wants to know how much money Anita took, and her mother confesses it was $5 million. A furious Chelsea kicks Anita out of the house.

Later Daryl stops by with suitcases of cash as a peace offering from Anita. He also offers Chelsea the rest of the contents of Calvin’s will, which includes a house, cars, and a storage unit. She signs the papers, and Daryl makes a comment about washing the money to make sure it’s safe. As Daryl’s getting ready to leave, Chelsea gives him a suitcase of money for him and Anita.

Adam is waiting at the park when he receives a text and leaves.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) are at their house, discussing their plan for when Adam arrives. When Adam stops by to pick up Christian, Victoria says the boy’s sick and asleep upstairs. Adam says they’ll reschedule the visitation, then leaves. After Adam leaves, Billy warns her they can’t keep this up much longer. Victoria agrees, but the less time Adam spends with Christian, the less time he’ll have to corrupt the boy.

Later Victoria and Billy take Christian, Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) to Chancellor Park. Billy leaves when Victoria says Nick is on his way. Adams arrives at the park and starts talking with Christian. Nick arrives and becomes angry at Adam with Christian.

The two brothers start arguing about Victoria cancelling Adam’s visit, and Nick threatens Adam. Victoria suddenly realizes that Christian is missing and they start searching for the boy. As Victoria and Nick search the rest of the park, Adam finds Christian hiding in the bushes. He convinces Christian to come out and the two play soccer. Nick comes back and is relieved to see Christian. He takes the boy and leaves, and Adam tells Christian he’ll see him later.

Phyllis meets with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) at Society. She apologizes for their spat earlier, and Abby says she’s open to the idea of working with her. Phyllis begins praising Abby and says together they’ll make a great team. Abby realizes Adam fired her and that’s the reason she’s sucking up to her. Phyllis tells her that Adam put the hotel up for sale, but they can save it if Abby purchases it herself. Abby is unsure if she trusts Phyllis, but after Phyllis talks about her accomplishments at Jabot, Abby agrees. Abby says she’ll keep Phyllis on board on one condition, Phyllis has to have a stake in the deal too and Abby gives her a week to come up with the money.
