Young And The Restless Spoilers: Is Mishael Morgan Returning To Y&R Full Time?

Is Mishael Morgan Returning On The Young and the Restless On Contract?Last year, Mishael Morgan decided not to renew her contract as Hilary Curtis on “The Young and the Restless” after contract negotiations fell through last year. Since her exit from the show, Morgan was last seen in the show’s May 1 episode as she appeared as a ghost to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

Now the actress could be back on the canvas. Y&R rumors hint that the actress is returning to “The Young and the Restless” after signing a three-year contract with the show. The show has not confirmed nor denied the rumors. If her rumored return turns out to be true, there’s no word yet as to what character she’ll be playing and what storyline she’ll be part of.

Young And The Restless – Last Appearance Was As A Ghost

Viewers may recall that the Morgan’s character appeared in a special episode, which the show made as a tribute for the late Kristoff St. John. Last June, TV Source reported that Morgan could return to the CBS sudser not just to make spectral appearances but as an actual character on the show. If this is true, her presence could disrupt the lives of some characters especially Devon’s. But if she were to return as a different character, then things will be different.

Young And The Restless – A Gifted Actress

Before Morgan joined “The Young and the Restless,” she had a recurring role in “The Best Years” and then landed a regular stint on the YTV sitcom “Family Biz.” In 2012, she joined the cast of the CBC TV comedy-drama series “Republic of Doyle.” She also appeared on “Casino Jack,” “Total Recall,” “Supernatural,” “The Listener,” and the “Backpackers.”

She joined “The Young and the Restless” in 2013. News about her departure broke on June 18, 2018. One of her representatives later revealed that she decided to leave after negotiations for a salary increase failed.

She taped her final scenes on June 27 and viewers last saw her on-screen on July 27 of the same year when her character died after a car accident. Her impeccable performance as Hilary earned her a nomination for Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2018 and 2019.
