The Young and the Restless Weekly Spoilers August 19 to 23: Adam’s Marriage Proposal, Billy Lashes Out At His Family, and Victor Has A New Enemy

The Young and the Restless promo for the week of August 19th thru 23rd indicate Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) proposes to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) lashes out at his family, and Phyllis Summer (Michelle Stafford) vows to bring down Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman proposes to Sharon Newman

Adam’s wish to reunite with his ex-wife Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) has been diminished. Chelsea is moving on without Adam and it’s time to do the same.

The woman Adam has his eye on is his ex-wife and friend Sharon. She’s been a huge supporter of his since his return to Genoa City. Adam has finally realized she’s the one he wants. The couple gave in to their passion a few weeks ago, which thrilled Shadam fans. However, Sharon became furious when Adam set it up so Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) could catch them together.

The two patch up their difference and Adam proposes to Sharon. She has to take time to think about her decision and when Adam asks if she has an answer for his proposal, she responds “I do.”

Later Adam is seen throwing a glass at the fireplace. It’s unknown if his anger is because of Sharon turning him down or more trouble with his family.

Young and The Restless Spoilers – The Abbotts in shambles?

The tight knit Abbott family hit a rough patch last year when older siblings Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) had a falling out. The reason for their feud stemmed from Ashley switching Jack’s paternity results making it appear that John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) wasn’t his father. Later Jack tried to swindle Ashley over the rights to her beauty products. Ashley would then move to Paris and start her own cosmetics company.

Recently, Jack and Ashley patched things up and are planning to merge their two companies. This is a happy time for the Abbott family, but not everyone is thrilled.

During a meeting to discuss business, Billy lashes out at Ashley by saying it’s only a matter of time before she leaves again and stabs Jack in the back.

Billy’s outburst leaves Jack and Ashley stunned, and questioning what’s going on with their brother.

Victor Newman warns Michael Baldwin

Victor continues to be at odds with his son Adam. With Adam causing problems for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victor is trying to protect his family from Adam.

Meanwhile, Adam’s got a plan up his sleeve that involves Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). Adam managed to get Michael to remove himself from Nick’s custody case and the two are working to get Michael the D.A. position.

When Victor learns of Michael’s deal with Adam, he issues a warning. He says that Adam is out to destroy the Newman family and tells Michael to be careful with which side he chooses.

Phyllis Summers and Victor Newman face off

After losing her job at Dark Horse, Phyllis has turned her attention to purchasing the Grand Phoenix. She struck a deal with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), but now it looks like Victor may become involved in the plan.

If Victor interferes with Phyllis’ business deal, she won’t be happy. She is shown threatening Victor by saying he’s going to lose everything and Victor responds with “bring it on.”
