Coronation Street Spoilers: Simon’s Shocking Discovery

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that the truth is coming out, as Eva’s (Catherine Tyldesley) baby bombshell has been revealed.

When Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) texted Toyah (Georgia Taylor) asking for a pacifier for the baby, he then asked Simon (Alex Bain) to retrieve it from Eva’s baby bag after she responded. But in a twist of events, Simon sees a photograph of the baby taken at the hospital.

Simon is left confused over the hospital photo of Susie in Eva’s bag and hands it to Peter. He then confirms that no photos had been taken at the hospital and becomes suspicious that Eva might have been at the birth.

Meanwhile, Aidan Connor’s funeral takes place, with Eva’s appearance ruffling a few feathers. Johnny (Richard Hawley) delivers an emotional eulogy. But when Johnny says that Aidan would have made a great father, that’s when Eva bursts into tears. It ‘s just too much for her to handle, prompting her to leave the church.

When both Eva and Toyah return to the rovers, that’s where Peter snaps at her. He asks, “Why are you carrying a picture around of Susie that I’ve never seen?”

That’s when Toyah rushes to provide a cover-up and explains that it was a photo that was posted by the hospital photographer. Peter apologizes saying that he let his imagination get the best of him. Later on, Toyah worries that Eva might have backed out on her plans to keep the baby following the photo mishap, but she confirms that their plan is still on track – for now at least!
