Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday August 21: Billy Lashes out at Ashley, Victor Issues a Warning, and Adam Awaits Sharon’s Answer

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday August 21st indicate that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will lash out at his sister, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tries to look after his family’s interest, and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) awaits Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) answer to his marriage proposal.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) comes home and learns that Billy forgot to pick up their son Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare). She asks if Billy has been having the dreams about Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) again. Billy says the dreams are causing his insomnia and he’s been on edge lately. After their talk, Victoria leaves to pick up Johnny.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) meet with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) at Society. They begin talking about the Jabot merger. Billy arrives to the meeting and suggests they reconsider the merger because they can’t trust Ashley. As things get heated, Abby and Summer leave.

Ashley tells Billy that his is what their father John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) would’ve wanted. Billy retorts that it’s only a matter of time before Ashley stabs them in the back again. A hurt Ashley brings up Billy’s past mistakes. As the two siblings continue to bicker, Jack intervenes asking Billy what’s gotten into him. An angry Billy says he can’t trust Jack, then storms off.

Later Jack goes to Victoria’s house and tells her about Billy’s behavior at the meeting. Jack voices his concerns as Victoria tells him about Billy’s nightmares. Victoria worries that Billy doesn’t want to get better and he’s using the dreams as an excuse to remain closer to Delia.

Billy asks Phyllis to meet him at Crimson Lights. Talk turns to Ashley and Phyllis agrees with Billy’s concerns, but also says that Billy is vicious when it comes to revenge. Billy apologizes for what happened with Summer. Phyllis asks why Billy wanted to meet with her and he says he wants to know what’s going on with Adam. She informs him that she and Adam had a falling out.

She then talks about how everyone else in town has done horrible stuff, yet they continue to judge her and Adam. Billy makes a comment about Chelsea’s inheritance before he starts bashing Adam and says he’s never been held accountable for everything he’s done. He warns Phyllis to be careful or she could end up as collateral damage.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) place, he and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) are discussing jobs at Hamilton Winters. Theo thinks he’ll be a good fit for Power Communications, which is Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) job. Devon turns down Theo’s suggestion, but says he’ll talk with Mariah about Theo working under her. Theo says there’s a lot of potential for Power Communications, then explains to Devon his reason for wanting to stay in Genoa City.

Summer meets her mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at the rooftop bar and talks about Billy’s outburst at the Jabot meeting. Summer tells Phyllis about receiving a text from Theo, then explains Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) connection to Theo and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Phyllis advises her daughter to be careful around Theo.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott And Celeste Rosales Chat

Jack arrives at the Dive Bar to meet Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue). Their discussion starts with her ex-husband Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo). Jack is happy to learn she turned down Adrian’s attempt at reconciliation and says she deserves better. Jack then brings up his past relationship problems, including Phyllis sleeping with Billy. Celeste talks about her children before telling Jack she plans to return to Miami, and Jack is disappointed by the news.

Across the bar, Theo meets with Mariah and tells her about Devon’s suggestion that they work together. Mariah isn’t thrilled with the idea, but is willing to give him a chance. Theo boasts that his expertise will help the company become a success, but Mariah warns him not to get ahead of himself. Summer spots Theo and pulls him away. Their discussion turns to him bringing Zoe to the wedding, the two start to argue before sharing a kiss.

Phyllis runs into Adam and informs him she found a way to get the money for The Grand Phoenix, and before long she’ll kick Abby out of their deal. After Adam leaves, Phyllis calls to leave Chelsea a message.

Victor catches up with Abby at Society. He tells Abby that he overheard Phyllis’ talk with Adam and how Phyllis is planning to kick Abby out of the Grand Phoenix deal. Abby says she’s determined to take down Phyllis. Victor warns Abby that Phyllis is toxic, and Abby says this new information has given her plenty to think about.

Adam and Sharon are still at the park. A shocked Sharon asks why he proposed when she made it clear she doesn’t want anything to do with him. Adam tells Sharon that deep down in her heart, she knows they belong together. Sharon wonders if she’s a rebound since Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) turned him down.  Adam says that he and Chelsea don’t have that special connection, like he and Sharon do. Sharon recalls their time together and says that she was in a dark place. When he left, she discovered her new life’s purpose.

She admits since his return, she’s found her life in chaos. Adam says he wishes he could’ve been there for her, but now they have a chance to start a new life together. Sharon says she does care about him, but their night together was a mistake. Adam says that if he has her, he may be able to let go of his anger towards his family. Sharon accuses him of manipulation and reminds him of their troubled past. Adam goes to leave, but asks Sharon to please consider his proposal. Later Adam is at home when the bell rings, he answers the door to find a smiling Sharon.
