‘General Hospital’ (Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri) and ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Sage Warner) alum Kelly Sullivan’s new crime drama ‘Martingale’ is nearing the end of filming and headed into post-production, Adventus Films announced in a press release.
Kelly gave ‘General Hospital’ and ‘The Young and the Restless’ fans a quick look at what’s going on via Instagram. Things looked a little bit dangerous as the actress got ready to film a scene with a hawk. As filming nears completion, producers are reaching out to independent film enthusiasts, ‘GH’ and ‘Y&R’ fans to finance part of the remaining part of its budgetary needs.
The producers of ‘Martingale’ are known for their work in the independent film market, creating features ‘Ayla’ starring veteran actress Dee Wallace and ‘The Invoking’ starring Trin Williams.
‘Martingale,’ directed by Jeremy Berg, the screenplay written by Chris Joseph Taylor, tells the story of Andi, ‘a crafty casino worker who is swallowed up by the seedy underworld of her small town as she searches for the man who raped and killed her teenage daughter.’ The cast includes James Grixoni, Konstantin Melikhov, Rachelle Henry, McKenna Ralston, and Darlene Sellers.
The Emmy-nominated actress exited ‘They Young and the Restless’ in 2016 when her character Sage Warner was killed off in a car accident. Kelly has kept busy with several projects, including the television series’ ‘Too Close To Home’ and ‘Henry Danger.’

Kelly married director photographer and director, Eric Michael Roy in Las Vegas while filming of ‘Martingale’ was underway. On May 27 the actress shared a signed photo of the couple kissing in front of the Little Vegas Wedding Chapel and captioned it with the lyrics to the song ‘Something Good’ from the iconic movie ‘The Sound of Music.’
The film’s supporters, according to the press release, in this phase will receive items such as cast-attending movie premiere and after-party tickets, signed Blu-rays, and possibly a chance to help shape the film’s final edit. Contribution levels begin at $10.
‘Martingale’ was shot in 20 days in May 2019 near Seattle and is expected to be released in the summer of 2020. ‘General Hospital,’ ‘Young and the Restless,’ check out a clip of the crime drama.
