Young and the Restless Spoilers: Newman Family War Brewing – Victor and Adam Make Peace?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) desire to make peace with his son will cause dramatic change, if the Moustache is successful. With the death hoax being exposed, both characters have arrived at a point where a shift in the dynamic between these men may be seen.

Victor was stunned to learn that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was alive and living in Las Vegas, Nevada, under an assumed name. Spider was suffering from memory loss, due to the cabin blast that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) caused in 2016.

Adam’s need for help in restoring his memory has been followed by a full-blown paranoid personality push, where he’s seeking to attack members of the Newman family who he feels have wronged him. His subversive efforts included double-dosing Victor’s medication, which created the now exposed death ruse. Yet through all of this a real chance at developing the relationship that Victor and Adam have seems possible.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman’s Accord Threatened

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) recently reached his own accord with Victory. A contingent of Y&R fans appear accepting of Nick having reversed course, with his J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) morph now part of the past.

As for Nick, he will not be on board with any peace agreement Victor and Adam may reach. Morrow’s character is still hurt by Adam’s attempt to take Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) from him and wasn’t swayed by the custody challenge being dropped.

Nick’s protective feelings for his father will be tested if Victor asks his first-born son to also make peace with Adam. As both men and the fans recall, that was Victor’s wish for all of his children before he pretended to collapse and die at the Ranch.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Newman Enterprises Job Offer

Victor offered Adam the opportunity to run Newman Enterprises after his memory was restored earlier this year. Adam turned him down flat and later told Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that he didn’t want daddy’s handout. Instead he planned on taking Newman and then disassembling it.

Assuming Adam is honest in wanting to reconcile with his father, another job offer will likely follow. Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle), like Nick, will rightfully feel threatened. Any such work-share program Victor institutes will be at least problematic.

A leading factor in Victor’s personal growth involves his being on good terms with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Along with Victor’s change of heart toward Adam could come Nikki’s unanticipated help.

Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) will always reign supreme in Adam’s heart, as she’s his biological mother and is sainted in being dearly departed. However, Nikki’s relationship with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) could be used as a guidepost if Y&R opts to.

Who better than Nikki to serve as a surrogate mother figure for Adam? She wants the best for her husband and also understands his second-born son, as he’s experiencing the same perils of personality type that Victor does. Nikki can be a good stepmother to Adam, if he opens his heart to her as well.
