Despite the last assignment getting Michael thrown into a Peruvian prison on false charges, he will take the job. Michael’s only reason isn’t so he can get revenge on Ashland, though. Michael is enjoying the excitement.

In Wednesday’s episode, Lauren will share her concerns with Michael. When Michael went missing in Peru, Lauren was frantic. So, Michael taking another assignment from Victor that is just as dangerous will send her blood pressure through the roof.

However, Michael will probably try to explain his reasons for taking such a dangerous job. It is teased that it won’t do much to ease Lauren’s fears, but she will understand.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday’s episode reveal that Chelsea will continue to struggle. Chelsea is devastated about Rey Rosales’ (formerly played by Jordi Vilasuso) death. Chelsea also has to keep an eye on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Chelsea and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) son got very close to Rey.

Chelsea will struggle to find closure. At the same time, Chelsea blames herself for Rey’s death. It has begun worrying Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). However, will Chelsea get through this ordeal, or could her mental stability be jeopardized?

In Wednesday’s episode, it is teased that Phyllis happens to see a surprising encounter. Perhaps Diane and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) run into each other. Of course, Diane might interact with some more Genoa City residents that are unaware of her resurrection status.

Of course, Phyllis’ observation might not have anything to do with Diane. However, with how worried Phyllis is about her enemy, she will be on full alert. So, we can’t imagine anyone else that Phyllis would be watching so closely. Perhaps Diane crosses paths with Michael. If that’s the case, could this be connected to Michael’s dangerous new assignment?
