Whatever the case, Sharon has been alone for a long time, and if the writers are going to keep dragging their feet, then it is time to move on and give Sharon somebody worthy of her time.

Nick and Sharon know each other well enough to know if they want to be together or not. Perhaps Sharon needs a new man, a new romance, and a chance to have a man who doesn’t carry the baggage that Nick does. Let Sharon be happy for once.
