General Hospital Spoilers: Sizzling Promo – Major Trouble, Manipulations, Explosive Confrontation

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease trouble’s brewing in Port Charles on GH the week of May 16-20!

General Hospital Spoilers – Now That The Quartermaines Are United

The Quartermaines have gathered to watch Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) read his poem as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) gather in front of the fireplace. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) looks on as Michael and Drew talk about the merger of Aurora Media and ELQ with satisfied looks on their faces. Michael tells Drew that now that the Quartermaines are united, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) doesn’t stand a chance as Carly and Drew glance at each other.

Later, Michael and Drew will offer Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) a position in the new combined company. The question is, will Ned accept their offer or will he think it’s not a powerful position as he wants?

GH Spoilers – Brook Lynn Quartermaine Is Upset With Harrison Chase

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) are also at the Quartermaine gathering and BLQ appears to be upset with Chase! They are also in front of the fireplace as she looks at Chase and then turns around and leaves with a disappointed look on her face mixed with exasperation. Poor Chase doesn’t seem to be able to do anything to please this girl or to catch her romantic attention, but they’re both sending out mixed signals! Later, Leo will remind Chase of a promise he had made – maybe that’s what she’s upset about this time!

General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin Catches Sasha Gilmore Corbin In The Act

Previous GH episodes had revealed that Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) has gone back on illegal drugs, pills, to cope with her ongoing grief for Liam Mike Corbin (uncast infant). She got caught on camera trying to take some outside the Deception IPO with Gladys having gotten a look at the camera memory card from paparazzi Felty’s (Brian Norris) phone. Gladys quickly came up with a reasonable cover story when Valentin came up from behind and saw her looking at the memory card on her laptop.

Gladys has figured out what Sasha has been up to and she determines to keep a close eye on her after distracting Valentin. Now she catches her in the in the act, confronting her with the pill bottle as Sasha looks like a deer in the headlights!

GH Spoilers – Esme Prince Manipulates Nikolas Cassadine

At Wyndemere Castle, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) turns on the waterworks as she manipulates Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma)! It’s plain to see she has been “crying” as she holds a crumpled Kleenex in her hand. The seduction of Nikolas begins as they hold hands after she’s had a disappointing encounter with Spencer. Nikolas has had some disappointing encounters of his own lately with Ava Cassadine, (Maura West) who cancelled their wedding vow renewal and has moved into a separate bedroom at the castle! Nikolas looks very sad as Esme takes his hand as the two sit on the couch together.

General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson Loses Her Cool

Outside Kelly’s, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) loses her cool at Spencer Cassadine, (Nicholas Chavez) after he tries to apologize for the trouble Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is in. Portia is irate, telling Spencer he doesn’t understand anything or have a clue of what Trina or her family is going through, and she really lets him have it! The Robinsons and the Cassadines are from two different worlds and two different lifestyles and she makes that point very clear to Spencer in her rant.

Trina has lost her good reputation at school, will have criminal charges following her around the rest of her life, and is getting ready to get kicked out of school! She blasts him, telling him he’s ruining her life and it’s all because of him and his awful girlfriend!

GH Spoilers – The Truth Comes Out

The truth finally comes out, or at least part of it, as Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) finally admits what she knew about the missing Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett). She apparently has been keeping secrets for years, since Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was a small boy. This throws Curtis for a loop, and Stella looks sad and ashamed. Curtis wants to know why, specifically, Stella lied to him! He doesn’t understand why Stella wouldn’t have told him the truth about what she knew!

      Hate to say it but Nicholas deserves whatever he gets for choosing to side with Esme. I’m glad to read that it seems when Ava catches her in bed with Nicholas that Ava will know it is all just a set-up done by Esme. Hopefully this will open his eyes!!  
      Nicholas has been a fool to bring her into his home like he did knowing what a viscous and evil girl she is and what she has done to Ava. And to do it without even discussing it with Ava first. He deserves to be in the hot seat for awhile if that’s what it takes to open his eyes.
      It’s weird but when I picture Tyler Christopher back in this roll I can’t picture him getting into a situation like this with Esme. When Christopher was playing the role Nicholas seemed so much more mature and like a true business man compared to what we now see. Marcus Coloma is OK in the role but he just seems like an immature spoiled rich boy and doesn’t have that ‘same air’ about him like Christopher did as Nicholas.

      Love that Portia is giving it to Spencer. My hope is that Spencer and Trina as least end up dating at some point. Trina brings out the best in him.

      I really would like find out what is going on with Liz, secondly I would love to see Sonny put Michael in his place by any means necessary! I can't stand Michael's pissy attitude towards Sonny. He is hellbent on destroying Sonny because he can't control him. Everyone is talking about Sonny being weak. He's not so weak he'll let anyone in that town force him to do something he doesn't want to do. I hope he has enough spine left to deal with Michael Quartermaine.
