Tonight’s episode begins with Rosemary who finds a paper that reveals Lee met with Arthur Gilchrist and she calls him on it, she wants to know he didn’t include her in it the meeting. He tells her the truth, Arthur didn’t want to meet with her.

Bill is having shortness of breath, the doctor tells him to rest.

Elizabeth has a knock on the door, it is Gustav, he is worried about Lucas. She tells him that she can send Nathan to check on him, he is a really good friend. He asks her about the letter Lucas left her, but she hasn’t read it yet.

Lucas is out in the wilderness camping.

The next days, Rosemary wakes up and wakes Lee up as well. She asks him about the meeting with Arthur. Mostly he just wanted to know if they would consider moving, to New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles. He says it doesn’t appeal to him because this is their home.

Nathan is with Elizabeth and he teases them that Lucas went out of town because maybe he had cold feet. She says he didn’t even propose yet and she is not worried about him, Gustav is.

Joseph stops to see Lee, he wanted to remind him that he is taking a day off for a picnic with his wife.

Rosemary asks Elizabeth if she is worried because Lucas ran off, but she says no. They go into the office to see Faith, but she is not there. Rosemary picks up a book about pregnancy, then they hear Faith coming in and hiding. Soon, Faith leaves and they come out of hiding.

Nathan meets up with Lucas, he tells him that he wants to apologize to him for thinking he had anything to do with Walden. He says he always thought of him as a poet, then roughing it like this in the woods.

Mounties show up with a prisoner, it is Henry Gowen and he claims he blew up a coal mine and he said he had no right doing it, he is turning himself in. Bill signs the papers to accept the transfer. Everyone starts clapping and thanks, Henry.

Elizabeth and Rosemary are outside reading the book, Faith walks up and says she has the same book. Elizabeth tells Faith that Rosemary would feel better if she asked her more questions. Elizabeth and Faith walk off.

Allie sits down with Elizabeth, she wants to find her father a wife. Elizabeth tells her that when her father is ready, he will find someone.

Bill tells Henry that he made some calls, the oil company wants to prosecute him to the full extent of the law, and he will probably do a few years in prison.

Lucas tells Nathan he came up to the woods because he needed time to think. Nathan says he did pack a bedroll and some extra food, he can stay awhile.

Elizabeth goes to see Henry, he gives her something for Joseph.

Rosemary is with Faith in her office. Faith says if she was pregnant she would feel a fluttering in her stomach.

Faith tells Molly she has a confession about Nathan, she has become more interested in him and it is unacceptable, she is his doctor. In medical school, they said you should never date a patient.

Joseph and Minnie moved their picnic indoors because it was too windy. She talks about her father, he gives in, he says he will speak to him about going into business with him.

Florence goes in to see Henry and she apologizes to him and says she was wrong. Elizabeth walks in and Henry asks her to find Joseph for him, he would like to see him. He tells her that he is not a hero, he was cleaning up his own mess.

Nathan is back, he tells Elizabeth that Lucas is fine and he will be back tonight. He tells her that she could do a lot worse than marrying Lucas.

Rosemary and Bill are working on Henry’s story, Elizabeth walks in and asks them, on behalf of Henry, not to publish it, and Rosemary rips it up.

Joseph goes to see Henry who says the church appreciates his donation, he brought him something to read. Henry tells him that he doesn’t know how to pray, he wants him to show him how.

Bill goes to see Elizabeth, he listened to Faith and made a decision. He puts an envelope in front of her, his last will and testament. Jack comes downstairs and Bill invites him down for grape juice with them.

Lee tells Rosemary they should go grab a bite to eat, but she would just like to go home. All of a sudden, they hear someone yelling fire, it is inside the saloon. Lee goes inside, he tries to save people, get them out of them. Joseph runs to Elizabeth’s house and tells her the saloon is on fire. Nathan lets Henry out of jail so he can help. Lucas arrives home just in time and is relieved to see that Elizabeth is ok.

The next day, Elizabeth and Luca are there and it looks pretty bad. She tells him that she never opened his letter. She knows that he was blaming himself for any danger he might have caused to Jack and her and Walden. And he was doing to same with the possibility of the mine reopening. She said she doubted for a moment what she knew about him, but there was no reason to doubt him. He tells her that he is the richest man alive, and he kisses her.

Mei Sou is back in town, she is sitting in a café with Nathan. Later, outside, Faith asks Nathan how his headaches are, and he says fine. Just then, Nathan realizes he doesn’t know where Henry is. He heads to the jail cell just as Henry is returning to it.

Rosemary and Lee are in bed, she tells him that this is where they need to be. Then she tells him it would be wonderful to raise a child in Hope Valley. Then, she has fluttering in her stomach, she tells Lee she is pregnant and he is going to be a father and she is going to be a mother. He gets up, runs outside in his Pj’s, and shouts that they are going to have a baby.

Elizabeth is out walking with Lucas, Jack is with them and he is picking up little rocks. Lucas tells her that he has a trip planned, to ask her father for her hand in marriage, but he just called him instead. He has a ring, gets down on one knee, and asks her to marry him and be a father to her son. She says yes.
