Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband Jason Alexander Arrested

The story here is that on Thursday evening, Britney Spears’ first ex-husband Jason Alexander, 40, arrived at the doorstep of Britney’s home in Thousand Oaks, Calif. where Britney’s wedding with her fiancé Sam Asghari, 28, was to take place. He boldly told the security that he was invited to the wedding by Britney but his motive was to crash the wedding. Alexander arrived hours before the nuptials were to take place and confronted security while he was streaming live on Instagram.

“Britney Spears invited me,” he says in the video, as captured by TMZ. “She’s my first wife, my only wife. I’m her first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding.” He was then stopped by security after what looks like a scuffle, at which point the video ends.

Come to think of it, we only see stuff like this in the movies— jealous ex——stalks his girlfriend, and comes to crash her wedding day, etc. Never would I have imagined this possible in real life. This would have been unbelievable under any normal circumstances had Alexander himself not been videoing the whole thing live on Instagram.

Jason Alexander’s – Arrest

According to PEOPLE, Alexander was arrested on an outstanding warrant. A source close to Britney also told the publication that the pop star was “freaking out” over the incident.

“He is in custody,” Britney’s attorney Mathew S. Rosengart said Thursday in a statement. “We want to thank the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for their prompt and good work, and I look forward to working with them to ensure he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” Rosengart added that he “will be aggressively pursuing all appropriate charges against Alexander.”

Alexander is not new to stalking scandals as he once made headlines back in January when he pleaded guilty to stalking an unidentified woman following an arrest in Tennessee.

Brief On Britney Spears’ Marriages

Britney, 40, and Alexander have been friends since their childhood, they got married in 2004, in a Las Vegas chapel but their marriage lasted 55 hours, rumors had it that Britney’s mom marched into their apartment and threw Alexander out of the house.

Right after ending her marriage with Alexander in 2004, Britney got married to a backup dancer Kevin Federline in September of the same year her first marriage was annulled. The pair — who share matching dice tattoos on their wrists — got engaged just two months after meeting and surprised their loved ones with a top-secret wedding three months after that. They were married from 2004 to 2007 and share two teenage sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15.

Sam Asghari will be Britney’s third husband. Britney announced her engagement to Asghari in September, and two months later she was freed from her 13-year conservatorship. Spears revealed last month that she lost the baby she and Asghari were expecting.
