Fans were amazed at Jill Wagner’s new look for her new series, Lioness on Paramount Plus. As she normally sports longer locks, she looks barely recognizable in the latest image. Moreover, she shared in the post that her haircut was for her role as Bobby on the new series. Meanwhile, the first two episodes were penned by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan.
On seeing Wagner’s new look, fellow cast members and fans were excited. Cameron Mathison wrote simply, “Omg!!!!” with a series of flame emojis. In a similar refrain, Danica McKellar wrote, “Whoa!!” while Lacey Chabert commented, writing, “Gorgeous!!!” Candace Cameron Bure exclaimed, “Stunning.”
Hallmark Channel News – About Lioness On Paramount Plus
Deadline describes Lioness as being about a group of US female operatives who infiltrate dangerous groups, including cells in Afghanistan right through to drug cartels. The series is based on a real-life CIA program that follows a young marine recruited to befriend the daughter of a terrorist to bring the organization down from within.
Meanwhile, according to Variety, besides Wagner, Zoe Saldana is also set to star as Joe in Lioness and will also be executive producing. Fans will remember Saldana from Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Trek Into Darkness, Six Degrees, Haven, Temptation and more.
Another cast member is Laysla De Oliveira, who is known for Locke & Key, Code 8 and Guest of Honour. There were rumors in February that Nicole Kidman would also star, but so far this has not been confirmed.

Hallmark Channel News – Jill Wagner And Cameron Mathison In Christmas Movie
Meanwhile, Jill is being kept busy by GAC Family. It was announced in early May that Wagner and Cameron Mathison would be starring in the new, original movie, The Christmas Farm. Production started on the movie in early May.
Wagner’s role in the movie is marketing executive Janie, who returns to her hometown after her great uncle left her the family homestead. Meanwhile, she is set to host the town’s annual winter festival on the farm, with the help of her great uncle’s employee, Dylan (Cameron Mathison).
Meanwhile, GAC Family is set to kick off its series of Christmas movies on October 28, including the debut of The Christmas Farm.
