Elon Musk Twitter followers have worried about the billionaire for days as a result of his unusual silence on social media. But now they can relax. Because the Tesla CEO made up for his Twitter hiatus with a flood of pics and comments.
Find out what Elon shared about the Pope. And check out his photo with four of his sons. Plus see why some think that Musk erred on the side of pretentious below!
Elon Musk – Posts Pope Pic To Break Twitter Silence
In the wake of his hiatus on Twitter, Elon Musk returned with a series of dramatically contrasting posts and pics. But first, Musk began by posing with the Pope. And he also intrigued fans by including four of his sons in the Pope pic, noted People.
In the 51-year-old billionaire’s first tweet since June 21, Elon took a rather pretentious tone. “Feeling … perhaps … a little bored?” And after that lofty lead-in, Musk then shared his recipe for alleviating boredom: A visit with the Pope! The photo showed Elon with sons Griffin, Kai, Damian, and Sax. However, the Tesla CEO made no mention of their mother, Justine Wilson, his first wife.

“Honored to meet @Pontifex yesterday,” wrote Musk. The photo showed him with the Pope. And thousands of Elon’s followers responded by liking, retweeting, and commenting on the Pope pic. However, Musk had only begun his Twitter comeback.
Elon Musk – Tweets Flood Of Pics And Posts
After Elon ended his nine-day Twitter hiatus, he seemed to go on a tweeting binge. For instance, the billionaire posted a throwback to his 40th birthday weekend, complete with party pics. And he also tweeted a gushing tribute to a YouTube star who died at age 23 from cancer. However, Musk struck a jarring note in seeming to base popularity and worth on the number of subscribers, noting the 12 billion mark.
“Popular Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade with 12 Billion subscribers recently passed away at the age of 23 due to cancer,” tweeted Elon. “And this made [me] realize that cancer is [an] absurd piece of literal garbage and death.” However, he also shared his lesson from the young person’s death. “But also try to live your best life with people who know. They could die the following day, and you would regret not doing things with them.” Musk quoted Sonic the Hedgehog in his tribute.

And his quote generated thousands of responses. For instance, one Twitter respondent questioned, “Who is SJM? Is that quote really relevant to the situation? I feel like it could come off as insensitive. Does he watch any Minecraft stuff? why does he care? If you’re not part of a community you really don’t need to send condolences it’s just not necessary.”
