Hallmark Channel News: WCTH Erin Krakow Hosts Behind the Scenes Look at ‘Sense, Sensibility & Snowmen’

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries ‘Miracles of Christmas’ celebration keeps getting bigger and bigger. ‘When Calls the Heart’ star Erin Krakow (Elizabeth Thornton), gives Halmarkies and Hearties a behind-the-scenes look at ‘Sense, Sensibility & Snowmen,’ loosely based on the classic Jane Austen novel ‘Sense and Sensibility.’

We’ll meet Ella (Erin Krakow) and her sister Marianne (Kimberley Sustad), co-owners of Dashworks Event Planning. Ella loves Christmas and celebrates with unbridled love and enthusiasm. Marianne, on the other hand, is a bit more reserved when it comes to the holiday and their business.

Kimberley describes Ella as the “free-spirited, fun-loving, take a minute to commit to things,’ sister. Erin describes Marianne as the more responsible and focused sister. Ella thinks it’s time for Dashworks Event Planning to grow, change, evolve.

We’ll find Marianne wants her sister and business partner to slow down and think through the ideas that keep flowing. Ella wishes her sister would be more spontaneous and openminded. They each will get their Christmas wish when a wealthy new client brings business to Dashworks.

Meet handsome Edward (Luke MacFarlane), the new owner of Ferris Wheel Toys. Beautiful, fun, energetic, Christmas-spirited Ella comes into Edward’s life to try to and help Ferris Wheel Toys CEO, a very orderly and serious businessman, throw the most impressive, fancy, chic, and polished Christmas party ever.

Edward and Ella are quite different when it comes to celebrating Christmas, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries viewers will discover. The Dashworks party planner is shocked to discover that the Ferris Wheel Toys executive doesn’t celebrate Christmas. Who doesn’t celebrate Christmas? Why doesn’t Edward celebrate Christmas? Ella will need to dig deep for answers.

Getting a glimpse behind the scenes of ‘Sense, Sensibility & Snowmen’ we see the beautiful, sparkling, hometown Christmas sets we have come to expect and enjoy from Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. We’ll discover that there is an opposite attract kind of thing going on, Edward is enchanted and intrigued by Ella. The vivacious Ella begins to see that sometimes you need to look before you leap.
