Sweet Family Pictures: Jodie Sweetin’s Daughters Play A Huge Role In Her Marriage To Mescal Wasilewski

Jodie Sweetin and Mescal Wasilewski tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Malibu, California, on Saturday evening.
The happy couple’s big day was even made more special by the sweet involvement of Jodie’s daughters.

Is there such a saying that a family that walks down the aisle together stays together? No? Well, there should be.
“Full House” alum Jodie Sweetin married her long-time sweetheart, Mescal Wasilewski, on July 30 in Malibu, California. Daughters Beatrix Sweetin-Coyle, 11, and Zoie Herpin, 14, served as her bridesmaid and were beside her as she exchanged personalized vows and rings.

“They’re so excited to stand up there with me,” Sweetin exclusively told PEOPLE of how her daughters are getting ready ahead of the nuptials. “They’re getting nails done and all this stuff and they just are so happy to see me happy and they love this little unit that we have. So, they’ve been very much a part of it.”

The fun of participation didn’t end with being adorable bridesmaids. They also helped to plan the wedding and guess what, Zoie found the dress her mother ultimately chose for her big day. “Zoie was the one that picked it off the rack and it was the first one I tried on and it was stunning and gorgeous,” the bride said.

Apart from being mummy’s little helpers ahead of the big day and walking down the aisle with her, they were also down to give speeches at the event. “I asked them the other day if they would like to make some toasts, Bea immediately jumped on it and wrote something and Zoie’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah, I’ll get to it,’ because she’s 14,” Sweetin joked.

Mescal Wasilewski – Relationship with Jodie Sweetin’s Daughters

On her now-husband’s relationship with her daughters, Sweetin praised him for putting his absolute effort in getting to know the girls and being a blissful presence in their lives. “He steps up and steps in for them all the time. The driving them back and forth, whether it’s soccer games or these plays … He really has jumped in and he listens to them and they laugh with him,” Sweetin shared.

“And we have these lovely dinners. He’ll make dinner at home and the four of us have dinner together and he’s just been… I’ve watched him with the girls and he’s just very calm and mellow and doesn’t let [them] get away with s—.”
