The Young and the Restless spoilers show that in a moment that shocked everyone, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) threw caution to the win and ended up laying a big fat kiss on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) while they were in the podcast studio.

This was a moment that caught a lot of viewers by surprise and has thrown a wrench into Billy and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) relationship, as well as confusion for Chelsea and what it meant. They haven’t been close forever, then after working together for a few days, all of a sudden she has feelings again.

Let’s not forget all the thoughts and dreams she was having about Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) when he was still with us! Chelsea has been trying to kill anyone she can, and now it looks like she has her eyes set back on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) YET AGAIN.

Y&R Spoilers – Melissa Claire Egan Explains

Egan spoke with Soap Opera Digest and they asked her why Chelsea could not stop herself from kissing Billy. She responded, “It was his eyes. Chelsea was doing okay because she was telling herself not to look into his eyes, but she did, so she lost her willpower and kissed him.”

Really? It was Billy’s eyes that did it… Definitely interesting to hear and now we have to wonder if every time she sees Billy’s eyes if she will try to kiss him again. It’s a strange thing Chelsea would do, but I guess we need to have some storylines happening otherwise it might get boring.

If it were up to me, Chelsea would take a break from dating even longer and from even thinking about men. She’s caused enough pain and trauma over the last year and if she starts going after Adam again, I might riot.

Adam belongs with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), plain and simple, and if they try to keep this from us, I don’t think fans are going to be thrilled.
