General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Suspects Dex In Brando Attack

General Hospital: Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will have his suspicions as to who brutally attacked Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and left him for dead. He never has trusted Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and he never will, remembering the first time he and Brando went after him apparently trying to take out Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

General Hospital Spoilers – Copycat Or Not?

When Dante and Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) went to the crime scene, at first she wondered if a copycat killer was at work. The injuries were nearly identical to Ava Cassadine’s (Maura West) and they still had no clues to the identity of her attacker although they have a person of interest. Jordan even feared that a serial killer may be in their midst, and that Ava’s attack had been one of many to come.

Dante thinks back to how conveniently Dex came to Ava’s rescue, seeing Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had found her bleeding out. Why was he already right there near the Quartermaine boathouse, having not even been invited to the charity picnic that he knew of, and checking invitation records confirmed it.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos’ Suspect

Brando had been suspicious of Dex as well, and had originally been following him around but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has another suspect in mind for Ava’s attack. Sonny’s sure that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) attacked his wife, and he’s trying to convince Jordan to arrest him, but now Brando’s been attacked in a similar manner.

There could be two different attackers, and the theory shifts to a copycat, but not many details of Ava’s attack were released. Dex is one of very few people who know where the wound was and how deep it was, since he was the one who transported her to GH with Joss. Dante thinks that Dex attacked Ava for some unknown reason, Brando may have confronted him about it and Dex tried to take him out.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jordan Ashford Disagrees

Jordan disagrees with Dante’s theory about Dex, and says it’s quite a leap; the only connection the two victims would have is through Sonny, and it’s tenuous at best. Why would Dex have attacked Ava; it doesn’t make any sense to her, considering they don’t even know each other, besides, he would have had opportunity to finish her off. He didn’t finish her off, although suspecting him in Brando’s attack does make some sense considering the two had some history with each other.

Forensics hasn’t found anything more in the crime scene where Brando was found than where Ava was, so Dex as a suspect is a theory. However, he did see Ava’s injuries up close and personal, so he very well could have attacked Brando and tried to make it look like a copycat attack.

      If Jordan is right and someone is targeting those around Sonny then Kristina could be in danger…especially if the attacker thinks she might be able to identify them.
