What happened Kourtney? The Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum Kourtney Kardashian is being dragged by critics all over social media for committing or do I say “communicating” blunder on live TV during an interview to promote her partnership with “Lemme Vitamins” which would be launched on the 27th of September.

It was on Monday, Sept. 11, that Kourtney Kardashian had an interview on Today Show to promote the vitamins business. Here’s the thing, Kourtney has been a co-host of a show in the past, in fact, Kourtney has also co-hosted a show with her interviewer on Today Show Hoda Kotb. So, it’s easier to think that Kourtney is a pro already, that Kourtney already knows the angles that the questions about the brand she’s representing would come from so answering them would be like a piece of cake, well, that’s not the case here though.

Kourtney Kardashian — How Did Kourtney Speak Blunder?

In Kourtney’s case, speaking blunder doesn’t mean that Kourtney spoke bad English, or that Kourtney stuttered amid her interview thereby vomiting grammatical blunder, no, what Kourtney spoke was good but what got fans and critics all riled up is the constant use of the word “Like” by Courtney. You can literally count how many times she used the word “like” in a simple sentence.

It sounded as though Kourtney was at loss for words because she kept thinking of the next word to say and that made her say “umm, like, like, umm, umm, like” and, trust me, that was every bit as embarrassing as it sounds, viewers were like, “c’mon, didn’t she prepare herself before coming out? It’s not like the questions are critical, it’s all about her new brand, does it mean she knows little about the brand she’s partnering with?”

It’s easier to guess why it was embarrassing that Kourtney would be desperately searching for her next word on Live Tv because, prior to Kourtney coming to Today Show to promote her Lemme Vitamins and supplements, she took to Instagram to introduce the brand. She posted a picture of herself completely nude with only the vitamins and supplements covering her, then she went on to write: “I’ve been dreaming of this idea, having lots and lots and lots of meetings and conversations with different people trying to figure out the best way to build this, the right partners and building the team that felt really good.”

The caption didn’t end there because Kourtney went on to explain how she started from the scratch to learn about the brand she ventured into, “When it was finally all right, it was all happening with ease. Lots of hours, zooms, dreaming, but all with swift decisiveness and actual fun! At last, 5 years later my passion/work baby is finally launching into the world. Meet Lemme – my new line of vitamins & supplements that I created to become a divine, feel-good part of your everyday life.”

Now tell me, would someone who spent five years of commitment to learning this, be at a loss for words on Live TV?

Kourtney Kardashian — Reactions From Viewers

Oh, trust me, the streets of Twitter are not merciful when it comes to dragging people that’s why I say this repeatedly, Twitter is not for the faint-hearted. Anyways, the critics in for of viewers took to Twitter to make sure they dragged Kourtney by her tails, one person wrote: “‘Um, like, like, um, like, like.’ If I took a shot each time Kourtney said ‘like’ in her 5 minute interview, I would be LIKE wasted by now!”

Someone else backed the commenter with “All I heard was ‘like, like, like.’ Learn how to talk,” another wrote, “Kourtney has said ‘like’ 4000 times in the first 2 minutes.” Hahaha, these people were really out for Kourtney, it was like they’d been waiting for this moment so they quickly made the most of it.
