The Young and the Restless spoilers show that the truth has come out about Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) being the biological mother of Johnny Abbott and it doesn’t look like he’s taking the news the best.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) decided it was finally a good time to tell him that Victoria adopted him and Chelsea was his actual mother, and like many others, he had questions about it and if things would change.

While Victoria and Billy assured him that things would remain the same and there is not going to be any changes, it looks like Chelsea has other ideas on her mind. She wants to take full advantage of the news, and start forming a new relationship with him as soon as possible.

Of course, it’s going to be very difficult for Johnny to get on board with this. Chelsea went to talk with Billy about the news, but Billy is second-guessing his decision. Chelsea just wants to move forward in a positive direction but realizes that Johnny’s not ready to have her in his life quite yet.

She wants Billy to give him something in exchange for her. She bought Johnny the blanket while she was expecting him. Billy isn’t sure if the moment is right. Chelsea wants to demonstrate to him that she hasn’t stopped caring about him. She just wants to be another person in his life who cares about him; she doesn’t want to be a threat.

It’s hard to tell, but we wonder if Johnny will ever want his biological mother in his life, especially after this long. I’m sure in 20 years we’ll be talking about this like it’s ancient history but it’s going to be a tough thing for Johnny to accept, and if he does accept Chelsea, will it affect his relationship with Victoria?

This news has been a long time coming, but it’s going to affect a lot of people, and Billy will probably get a lot of the upcoming teenage anger for withholding the information. Meanwhile, Chelsea is like a puppy in a shop window jumping up and down and it’s probably putting a lot of stress on Johnny.
