Britney Spears alternates sharing her struggles on Instagram with expressing her happiness. And the singer just spent the last few days doing both. For instance, Britney displayed her joy by performing a happy dance in some impressively tiny shorts.

However, the songstress also poured out her heartbreak over her family. And when her mother Lynne Spears tried to apologize, Britney didn’t seem impressed. Get all the details below.

No one does a happy dance better than Britney Spears. And the songstress just proved that truth again by twirling around joyfully for an Instagram video. However, Britney also reminded her fans that no one can wear extra-short shorts better either! 

And Spears explained her motivation for her happy dance in her Instagram caption. “New edit of my dance to “S.O.S” !!! I don’t cry in this one 😉😉😉 !!! Because it’s a HAPPY DANCE 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 !!!!” gushed Britney.

Fans praised the singer for expressing her joy through her dance. And among Spears’ fans, Paris Hilton shared her love with a sweet emoji. 😍 The 40-year-old singer did get some questions about a seemingly similar look. But most fans defended Britney, noting that she suffered under the conservator arrangement for so long.

However, don’t look for the singer to forgive her mother Lynne Spears anytime soon. Because as both Britney and her mother have shared, their feud shows no sign of ending. But Lynne just tried again to get her daughter to forgive her. And Britney’s mother apologized on social media.

But Britney shared an image on Instagram that read, “I’m not perfect. But I’m me.” And in her caption, the singer went into detail about what that means. Britney also explained why she repeatedly returns to discussing her past struggles. 

“I can understand that my posts complaining about my past may seem consistent 🙄 !!!!” wrote the singer. “It must seem like I have an extremely hard time letting it all go. But for me the real problem to me is that my family to this day honestly have no conscience whatsoever.”

However, Britney also shared that she feels her family’s attempts at apologizing failed. And she attacked her relatives for not owning up to what they did. For instance, the singer wrote on Instagram that she feels her family “really believe in their minds they have done nothing wrong at all !!!!”

The singer also explained what she seeks in an apology from her family. “They could at least take responsibility for their actions and actually own up to the fact they hurt me 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!! For me, just a genuine apology would help give me closure,” added Britney. “But it honestly blows my mind every day of my life. Even after…what they did to me, they still act as if that’s ok !!!!” 

And Spears feels her family’s reaction shows that they fail to value or respect her. However, Lynne flubbed her apology in ignoring what her daughter specifically wants in an apology. And it remains unclear whether Britney’s mother refuses to take responsibility for her daughter’s suffering or just doesn’t understand.
