Royal Family News: Official Royal Portrait Tells Harry And Meghan There’s No Way Back

British royal family news shows that a picture speaks a thousand words and the latest one by the clan carried the stamp of cancellation for upstarts Harry and Meghan. It is the first official portrait of King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, and up and comers William and Kate.

All are dressed in black due to it being taken so soon after Queen Elizabeth’s September 8 passing, and yet there is a look of ease and contentment that is unmistakable.

Of course when one has finally secured his birth rate at the age of 73, Charles has every reason to looked pleased with himself. Same for Camilla who sports a cat who got the cream smile.

As usual, William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, look duly proper, nothing amiss to note with them. If anything William is deferential, with a slight tilt of his head toward his father, and Kate wears the suitably inscrutable grin that no once can find fault with.

Royal Family News – The Wales Are Up And Coming

As royal expert Richard Kay notes, “Observers will search for clues about everything from its composition and backdrop to what it tells us about the long-term security not only of the Royal Family but, more pertinently, of the institution that they represent.”

He also finds it amazing that, “the picture was taken on the eve of the Queen’s funeral, when our four most senior royals were about to host a huge reception for visiting Heads of State, including US President Joe Biden, at Buckingham Palace.”

As such the picture sends a message that the monarchy does not rest, it is, “always on duty – even when they have to summon every inch of self-control, as they did during the public grieving for the Queen who for them was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother as well as the monarch.”

Self-control is the operative word here. For nowhere in the picture was any hint of the stupendously out of control couple Harry and Meghan Markle, hellbent on selling their souls to be part-in, part-out of the monarchy and whatever other foolish endeavor they desire. Like their rumored Netflix “Keeping Up with the Hollywood Hoboes” reality show coming to a dark cinematic corner near you. Or not. Name one project they have successfully launched in two years that did not involve participation of someone else doing the lifting.

Royal Family News – Harry Is An Elephant?

Kay notes, “The unspoken elephant in the room is the absence of the King’s younger son. Three years ago, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan would have had every expectation to be part of this family ensemble … It must, therefore, be yet another signal that they will never again return to their central role in royal life.”

But does that mean they will stop trying? The Markle’s have a shiny new PR person, having dumped their old after a drubbing as either ignorant or willfully malicious toward the couple. Every picture tells a story, the next one from H and M will speak volumes about them and their next agenda.
