Clinging to Meghan Markle, Prince Harry has become a needy man. And the Duke of Sussex behaves as if his wife represents a life raft. But royal biographer Tom Bower also told Page Six what caused Harry’s dependence on Meghan.

After observing Harry constantly clinging to Meghan, Bower believes that the Duchess of Sussex fulfills her husband’s needs. And the contrast between Markle and Harry’s previous girlfriends make that even clearer, added the author of Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors. As a result of trauma during childhood, the 38-year-old prince has psychological issues, claims Bower.

But when Meghan entered Harry’s life, the 41-year-old recognized exactly him to charm him. However, that doesn’t mean that Markle healed what Bower views as Harry’s “damaged and very disturbed” issues. “He is psychologically harmed both by his mother’s death and the father’s treatment of his mother, and of Harry himself, when he was a child,” claimed the author.

However, the author also alleged that Markle lied in discussing her first date with Prince Harry. Because the now-Duchess of Sussex claimed that she knew nothing about him. But Bower claims that she methodically researched Harry long before their first date in 2016. As a result, Meghan Markle increasingly knows how to lead the way so that Harry will follow.

“Her genius was that before she ever met him, she carefully researched him,” added the biographer. “And as an intelligent woman with a lot of experience, Meghan knew exactly what buttons to press.” But though Bower accused Meghan of manipulating Harry, he also believes that the Duke benefits from the relationship.

Because Harry felt so unhappy as a senior royal, he viewed Meghan as offering him an escape. As a result, he joined her in leaving their royal duties in January 2020. That exit, less than two years after their May 2018, dramatically changed both their lives.

And Bower compared Harry’s life before marrying Meghan to after tying the knot. For instance, the Duke of Sussex followed Markle’s lead in signing profitable deals with Netflix and Spotify. And they live in a California mansion with their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.

Comparing Harry’s royal family life before Meghan with his life after, Bower pointed out the differences. “I think he much more enjoyed paddling in the Pacific than shaking hands in the rain in a Northern town in Britain,” said the biographer. But Bower also sees Queen Elizabeth II’s death and funeral as challenging for Harry.

For instance, Harry did not get invited to a pre-funeral reception. And he felt miserable about getting banned from wearing his military uniform. As a result, “the funeral awakened some misery in him that he was so cut off from his family and friends and was an outsider,” added the biographer. And that puts additional pressure on Harry’s dependency on Meghan.

      Precisely! I had said over n over that H is mental n has alot of issues. What’s sad is how M is able to manipulate him over n over. Of he does speak up to her I’m sure their Fights are good, but she wants to be the winner, always.
      H does look like a pretty sad man. I don’t like M cus of how she went on Oprah n started all this crap that made so many people hate her. It all started with her. And, like it’s been said they sold their Soul to the Devil.
