Out of all of Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) many husbands, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) may have been the absolute worst. So, with him back in town and wanting to see her, Ashley is pretty adamant at first about not seeing him, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t curious. Eventually, that curiosity gets the best of her and she finally agrees to meet with the man and see what he wants.

“Ashley can’t believe that Tucker has the nerve to show his face with all his lies, deceit, and cheating during their marriage,” Eileen Davidson said in the October 17, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Ashley has moved on and has no regrets and assumes that Tucker did the same. It’s been so long since they’ve been together so Ashley is very suspicious of Tucker’s return to town.”

Y&R Spoilers – The Meeting Doesn’t Go Well

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Ashley is quite suspicious of Tucker when they meet but he swears up and down that this time, he does not have any secret hidden agenda. He had an accident in Monte Carlo that changed his look on life and it made him want to make amends with Ashley.

However, Ashley is not buying what Tucker is selling because there is no way to know if she can trust him.

“She ended their relationship because she couldn’t trust him, so there’s no way she’s going to trust him now as she finds this confession so out of character for him,” Davidson told Digest. “Tucker then accuses Ashley of being apathetic to his confession but she tells him it’s more that she’s completely disinterested.”

Too bad Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) want her to become interested because they think Tucker may have information for their one-track-mind quest to bring Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) down.
