British royal family news divulges that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continue to spin their wheels, unable to settle on a brand or a money-making scheme more than two years on from dumping the monarchy for the chance to become millionaires.

They live in a starter mansion in California and are more memorable as meme fodder than anything else. They left the glitz and prestige of the castle walls for a life of … what exactly? Would you believe late night infomercial hosts? That’s what one royal expert thinks is their hand-holding destiny. They are hardly the cash cows they imagined themselves in 2020 when they pulled up stakes for a life of “financial freedom.”

Royal Family News – The Markles are Not Cash Cows

Royal watcher Neil Sean sees Meghan Markle and Prince Harry supplementing their income hawking things like miracle nonstick pans and pimple products. They were once media “darlings,” but they tarnished their star by trashing his family and acting like prima donnas without any reason for it.

According to Sean, after Meghan was cancelled by Netflix, her and Harry’s earning potential could depend on their ability to sell products.

“When they first quit the British monarchy, they were the darlings of everybody,” says Sean. “Everybody wanted a slice of that Meghan and Harry Pie. But the bigger problem [is] when you become a celebrity, everything is merited on box office, for want of a better word. Box office is king. Do you get people spending with you? Can you get an audience? Can you sell books, T-Shirts, memorabilia? Whatever you’ve got, it’s all about that.”

Royal Family News – What Will The Markles Do Next?

Let’s be honest, the Markles promised the world to greedy partners like Netflix and Random House and gave nothing in return for millions. Harry has failed to publish his memoir, the couple have failed to produce one thing for Netflix, and they are clinging to Spotify segments to stay relevant. Sean points to Netflix’s cancellation of Meghan’s cartoon series, “Pearl” as proof that they are on the financial precipice.

Will Meghan and Harry turn to infomercials like other B-list celebs hawking skins creams and blemish banishers? Sean’s source alleges that the couple who still refer to themselves as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, “are open to receiving different offers. Sean believes their openness could lead them to the infomercial space.” Cheatsheet quotes Sean saying that such work could, “prove rather embarrassing.”

More embarrassing than throwing his family under the bus as negligent penny pinchers and poor parental role models? When you put it that way … as Sean says, “When you need money, you need money.”
