General Hospital spoilers tease that General Hospital writers may have given viewers a hint in Friday, November 15th’s episode that Drew Cain (Billy Miller) may turn up alive after all, although it may be as a recast.
General Hospital Spoilers – Franco “Frankendrew” Baldwin Was Talking To Jason Morgan On The Docks
In this scene, Franco “Frankendrew” Baldwin (Roger Howarth), in his Drew persona, was talking to Drew’s twin, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who he encountered on the docks, signing in some shipments for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). The two started to talk and “Frankendrew” started talking about how Franco had saved his life as a small child and that the two of them had been raised as brothers for a short time in their childhood.
General Hospital viewers will recall that the day before, Franco’s birth father, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) had reminded him of that fact, and all the gory details of Franco having been sexually abused by Jim Harvey (Greg Evigan) and how Franco had protected Drew, then called “Andy” and kept him from the same fate.
Franco took all the abuse at a young age to protect who he thought of as his brother. Franco told Jason this history and then started talking about his relationship with water; he went into some depth explaining how, as a Navy Seal, the water was always his friend; it allowed him to escape when he needed it to, to hide when he needed it to, and threw him back on land when he needed it to.
He knew that in his original body, that of Drew Cain, that he could have swam for miles to get to safety, and then contrasted his new body as Franco and how even though his mind had the skills needed to be “friends with the water” his body wouldn’t cooperate. That was how he came to the conclusion that this life was not his to keep but Franco’s.

GH Spoilers – Drew Cain’s Plane Crashed In The Gulf Of Aden In The Middle East
As General Hospital viewers will recall, Drew was between getting Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) out of Ethiopia and on his way to Port Charles, and back to Afghanistan to deliver the dirty money Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and his friend Tex had stolen to give to needy Afghanis. His plane crashed in the Gulf Of Aden, a body of water between Ethiopia and Yemen, a good way from Afghanistan.
However, with his Navy Seal training he spoke about to Jason, from Franco’s mind and body, if he did indeed survive the crash itself, he quite possibly could have swam either to Yemen or back to Ethiopia. Politically, Ethiopia would have been the better and safer choice. It is also possible that a ship or private boat could have picked him up. Viewers ask the question, why hasn’t he returned then? It is possible that although he may have been picked up or swam, he could have been captured. The Middle East is anything but stable, and terrorists and insurgents still abound.
A short mention was made of that early on but nothing came of it in the WSB’s and the Navy’s searches. Apparently, no one investigated that possibility. However, knowing Drew Cain, if he was captured he will find a way out of it eventually. Another possibility is that he was picked up by a boat operated not by terrorists or insurgents, but by fishermen and he was injured. Like Nikolas Cassadine, (Marcus Coloma) Drew could easily be recovering still if he was seriously injured. A third possibility is that the two phony pilots, whose bodies were never recovered either, had a rescue boat waiting and they are holding him captive somewhere!
Stay tuned to GH and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates and developments!

I have hoped that Drew is alive somewhere. I would be alright with a recast even though I would miss Billy Miller. I miss Drew and Franco’s relationship. I also miss Drew’s relationships with Curtis, Monica, Sam, and Scout. I have also hated that Peter would have done something bad to him.
