After a quick half-term break, Prince William and Catherine are back at work, meeting people, hearing about their needs and learning about the best solutions to the problem that people face.

Instead of being a distant presence, it is understood that William and Catherine want to transform the monarchy into an institution that directly liaises with the public to find out about their needs.

Already, we’ve seen the Princess attend a rugby game and her husband sit down for a chat about football and mental health with two of the biggest names in the sport.

However, it was their Thursday joint public outing that drew the attention of an expert, who analyzed the way the royals handled meeting people during the outing.

Body Language Expert Says William And Catherine Want To Move “Amongst The Public”

The Prince and Princess of Wales are truly in their element whenever they’re meeting people and getting to know more about them and their trade. Their recent outing at Scarborough proves that it’s something they both greatly enjoy.

“There is a great shot of Kate having a moment of laughter with a member of the public whilst the woman in the photo was smiling,” Darren Stanton told Marie Claire. “The same woman also was seen talking to William and holding his hand.”

Stanton continued: “It’s clear that William and Kate intend to be a very different King and Queen as they are moving amongst the public and being as accessible as possible.

“Giving their time to the public also shows that the pair care about their fans, which has made them more popular than ever before.”

Darren Stanton Believes Prince William And Catherine Genuinely Love Meeting People

As a body language expert, Stanton was able to study Wills and Kate’s reactions and expressions during the public outing.

“There are several very tight shots taken of both William and Kate where they are displaying genuine expressions of joy and happiness,” he continued.

“This is denoted by the crows’ feet at the side of their eyes, which are fully engaged and bright.”
