The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers reveal the romance between Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Vincent) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is just beginning. Could they be moving too fast? Will it fizzle before they even get to test the waters? Here is what I think about their situationship.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Romance Or Rebound?

B&B spoilers reveal that Carter and Katie have both just experienced pretty harsh break-ups and Carter’s track record isn’t the best. Most recently his on-again and off-again relationship with Quinn Forrester (formerly played by Rena Sofer) began as an affair that led to heartbreak for his former fiancé Zoe Buckingham (formerly played by Kiara Barnes).

Then, in order to forget Quinn he tries to marry Paris Buckingham (Diamond White). Quinn does stop the wedding in time and it seemed like the two were going to get their happily ever after. Until Quinn broke things off with Carter and took off from L.A. without an explanation.

B&B Spoilers – ‘Batie’ Dead?

Katie has been on again and off again with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) for years and they have shared a beautiful life and child together but Katie knows that no matter what her sister, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), will always hold a higher place in Bill’s heart. She is heartbroken by the situation because she did really care for Bill, but Katie deserves someone who will make her their number one priority.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Carter could easily do this. We have seen the romantic and caring side of him but is his heart actually ready to let someone else in or will the heartbreak he suffered at the hands of Quinn make him hesitant?

B&B Spoilers – Stability

Will they be able to bring each other stability? Carter has been known to bounce from one relationship to the next and while Katie may not be thinking about this now it could become a problem for the two of them in the future.

We do see they have a great friendship that has already been built from their time working at Forrester Creations together and the solid foundation of a relationship does start with friendship. Carter does tend to overthink things and make them a bigger deal than they should be which makes him more prone to self-sabotage his own happiness.

Katie isn’t like the other women Carter has dated in the past. She is a lot more serious and reserved than Quinn and hasn’t played the field as much as some of the other women. Katie could see this as nothing more than something to keep her mind off Bill. Especially since she was proven right the moment her sister came back from Aspen.

He went right back to Brooke after pouring his heart out to her. As much as she wanted to believe it I know that Katie knew it was better to go through the heartbreak now over a betrayal in the future.

Could things move too fast for her liking, and she ends up distancing herself from Carter? I hope instead of just jumping into a new relationship, they will take things slow and really get to know one another and help each other heal their hearts. They really could be a power couple for the show if they just move at the right pace. I am definitely team Karter!
