Will Smith And Jada Pinkett Always Do What’s ‘Right,’ Claims Their Niece Jade

Will Smith continues to face challenges after he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars. And though the actor recently returned to the red carpet with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, Will has shared his awareness that some audiences may not want to view his films.

Niece to Jada Pinkett and Will Smith, Jade Pinkett feels grateful for their shared wisdom. And she explained, “Being part of this famous family has allowed me to grow in different areas.” But despite Will’s and Jada’s “moments of discouragement, they always know the right thing to say. Being in this family is a blessing, and the knowledge they’re able to pass down to me is probably the greatest gift,” Jade told OK magazine.

And she praised Jada for showing her “a lot of grace and how to have grace in any situation. Whether it’s when I’m in an audition where I am being treated unfairly or just going out there and getting it and not expecting anybody to hand things to you. I’m still learning how to be like her,” added Jade. “And I really applaud her. Meanwhile, my Uncle Will always shares so much knowledge. Being around the two of them encourages me to be the best version of myself— just to go out there and be that person.”

Jade also expressed appreciation for how her aunt and uncle helped her stay centered. And Will’s and Jada’s niece praised them for always seeking the best option for their family. But Jade also noted the importance of humility.

Growing up in Will’s and Jada’s spotlight, Jade recalled seeing how fans reacted to her uncle and aunt. And she described “how many people truly love them.” As a result, she learned from how they acted toward their fans. “That’s something I do when I meet people,” she revealed. “I want to make people feel loved, even if it’s a hi or hello. That was eye-opening for me.”

However, Jade also got honest about the negatives of the entertainment world. And she admitted that trolling can take its toll. But Jade prefers to focus on the positive side of fame.

“We’re pretty strong mentally, so we just shrug it off like it’s nothing,” she stated about critics. “It’s not for you to explain to anybody else,” added Jade. “But I get it because there are going to be people who are going to say whatever they want, regardless if they love or hate you. But I’ve always witnessed the love that people have for them.”

And as she pursues her own dreams, Jade shared that her aunt takes pride in her successes. As a result, she feels thrilled about her famous relative’s reaction. And stepping out and making her family proud ranks as the biggest accomplishment.
