General Hospital spoilers reveals Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is struggling right now holding onto the secret she didn’t think she would ever have to think about again. Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) sure left her with a heavy load to bear, but Carly never imagined it would bother anyone not to know the truth — that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth mother. Faced with even more challenges ahead, Carly is going to find the nerve to come clean to her son, MIchael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but his response is the last thing she expected.

Carly is going to be riddled with guilt as she continues to sabotage Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) search for Willow’s birth parents. Soon, Michael will open up to Carly, and there won’t be any turning back. Carly can tell something is going on with her son, and she’s concerned he’s not coping well with the estrangement from his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

When Carly won’t back off, Michael will tell her the truth — he’s heartbroken because Willow is battling cancer and there’s a chance she might not make it. The truth will cut through Carly like a knife, and she’s going to shoot straight with Michael about what she’s done. The response she received will stun her though. Michael is going to agree with his mother and conspire with her to make sure Willow never finds out Nina is her birth mother.

Of course, neither Michal nor Carly would aim to keep Nina’s parentage of Willow a secret if they thought it was going to come at the cost of Willow’s life. So they’re going to think of another way to verify whether or not Nina would be a bone marrow match for Willow — and that means Willow is going to have to be willing to tell everyone the truth about her diagnosis. Once she does, Carly and Michael feel confident they will be able to appeal to Nina to get tested as a possible donor, even if Carly has to put Sonny up to doing it for her.

General Hospital Spoilers — Will They Be Able To Keep This From Willow Tait?

One part of the plan they might be overlooking is what happens if Nina is a match for Willow. Just because she’s a match doesn’t mean Nina will be willing to be a donor for Willow. She might not be that heartless, but she and Willow are mortal enemies — and Willow did recently wish death on Nina, after all. Nina could be rather bitter, and she may not see any need to help Willow without receiving something in return — like time with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver).

Willow would never agree to that and would probably forsake her own life first. Moreover, how will doctors explain the rare miracle that Nina is a match for Willow anyway?
