The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will reveal a major secret to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) during the week of December 19. Tessa will tell Sharon that she and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) are meeting with a pregnant woman to talk about adopting her baby.

If all goes well, their adoption journey could be one step closer to becoming parents. Mariah didn’t want to talk about the meeting just in case it didn’t work out. Tessa’s heart was in the right place. She wanted to lift Sharon’s spirits. This is her first Christmas since Rey Rosales’s (Jordi Vilasuso) death.

Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) isn’t coming home from college for the holidays. Instead, Faith is going to Europe with her friends. So, Tessa thought that the baby news would lift her spirits.

It won’t take long before Mariah and Tessa receive the news that they’ve been waiting for.

“On Christmas day, they find themselves on step closer to motherhood,” Grimes added.
