The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) will have a difficult decision to make regarding Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) in the coming weeks. She will have to decide if she wants to resume her relationship with Bill or continue to build a beautiful connection with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

Katie will have a lot to think about as she shares a long history with Bill. Even though things ended badly, she still has a connection to him and wants him to have a good life.

On Tuesday’s (December 20) show, Katie told Bill that it would never work out between them because he is always concerned about his own needs, never considering her needs, too. She needs to feel loved and safe, too.

He tried to give her his sword necklace, swearing he wouldn’t need it if she returned home. He said that with her by his side, he wouldn’t need the protection the sword gives him. Katie refused to let him manipulate her. She said she must choose peace over him, suggesting he will never be able to be the man she needs him to be.

Carter has made his feelings known. He wants to be with Katie and sees a long future ahead with her. He loves her, and he thinks she feels the same way. He vowed to protect her heart figuratively and literally (heart transplant). B&B spoilers state that Katie enjoys the fact that Carter adores her and doesn’t have eyes for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Katie believes that Bill needs a therapist to work on himself. She urged him to seek professional help because if not, she feared his darkness would overtake his life. Bill didn’t seem open to that idea. He doesn’t want to talk about his feelings. He thinks Katie is the only “therapist” he needs in his life.

Katie decided to choose Carter and finally shut the door on reuniting with Bill. Now, Bill must work on his own issues, then he will be able to find love again.
