RHONJ Teresa Giudice Shares Sweet Words Ahead Of First Christmas With Husband Lius Ruelas

On Aug. 6, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star tied the knot with Luis “Louie” Ruelas in Brunswick, New Jersey. This holiday season, the star is extra grateful to be celebrating it with the ones she loves, even though their family gathering is more slimmed down this year.

Teresa Giudice – Opens Up About Hosting Christmas For Their Blended Family

Christmas at the Ruelas’ is going to be big and fun, especially with Giudice at the helm of the whole show.“I’m hosting Christmas Eve, and Louie’s family is coming over,” Giudice said. “[My daughters] are going to be home, and [Ruelas’s son] Nicholas is coming too.”

Even though this is their first one as a married couple, it’s certainly not their first as a couple.

“It’s been special because we spent already two Christmases together. Our first Christmas, I had his whole family at my house. We met in July, and that first Christmas I had his whole family at my house where I used to live. They all came and it was so beautiful,” Giudice recalled. “And I felt like we were married last year ’cause we were living together.”

“Last year, everyone was here — his brother, sister, everybody came last year — and this year it’s smaller,” she added. “But I’m grateful that we had last year, that everybody was with us.”

Giudice, 50, and Ruelas, 47, began dating in 2020 after meeting at the Jersey Shore. In October 2021, they became engaged.

Their relationship was a very public one as a large part of it was documented on season 12 of RHONJ, where we saw Giudice fiercely defend her partner against the accusations from the other cast members regarding his past.

On Aug. 6, the pair said “I do” in front of family and friends in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Giudice’s four daughters –Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13 – who she shares with ex-husband Joe, were all by her side at the ceremony.

Ruelas’ sons David and Nicholas, who he shares with another woman from a previous relationship, were also present.

Fans will get to see inside the wedding as it was filmed by Bravo cameras. The ceremony is likely to be featured on a special expected to air after the conclusion of RHONJ’s upcoming 13th season, premiering Feb. 7.
