General Hospital Spoilers – Who Gets Hooked Now?

It looks like Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) survives an attempt by The Hook to kill her, but that someone else will meet their demise instead. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) seems distraught over who the victim turns out to be in a week where death shocks PC in a whole new way.

With Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) still trying to burn down Wyndemere when The Hook appeared on the pier and The Haunted Star, she is definitely eliminated as a suspect, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t missing. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) searches high and low for her on Spoon Island, but is forced to tell Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) that she is gone, with Liz freaking out that Esme and her baby could die in freezing winter waters.

Also, while Josslyn is averting The Hook, her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), is paying her no mind as she continues to lie to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) face about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) so they can ring in the new year together.

After her New Year’s Eve conversation at Wyndemere about keeping Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) out of Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) life, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is alarmed. Nikolas was adamant that if his mother went after Victor and manages to bring him down that she would be bringing Nikolas down, as well.

To that end, Laura pays a visit to Nik’s soon-to-be ex-wife Ava Jerome (Maura West) to see what she knows, asking Ava what Victor has on Nikolas. Ava knows of quite a few things, including Esme’s original trip off the parapet, but is she about to tell Laura what is really going on with Nikolas? Ava doesn’t even know all of it and neither does Victor, as they are in the dark about the fact that Esme is pregnant and Nikolas had been keeping her hostage.
