Royal Family News: Kate Middleton Kicks Off Children’s Mental Health Week With Art Lesson

British royal family news shows that Kate the Princess of Wales kicked off her week on a high note by helping students complete an arts and crafts project in Bethnal Green. Monday marks the kick-off for Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week and Kate marked the occasion by dropping in to St. John’s CE Primary School.
Kate Middleton has long been an ardent childhood development supporter and today the cheerful mother-of-three helped some young schoolchildren do some coloring. Last week Kate said her current Shaping Us childhood scheme is her “life’s work” during a Bafta screening to debut a film about a fictional girl called Layla from birth to the age of five.

After her fun visit fans were treated to a photo of Kate with the youngsters on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s official Instagram account. Kate Middleton and the kids looked happy and carefree as two children held up a frame promoting the mental health campaign.
The photo was captioned: “Proudly supporting Children’s Mental Health Week with Place2Be. While our first five years are crucial to shaping who we become, the continued importance of connecting with others and prioritising mental health is vital in laying the foundations for healthy, happy adults.”
Royal Family News – Kate Is a Childhood Advocate
Princess Kate’s newest childhood development program, Shaping Us, focuses on the first five years of a child’s life. Today Kate talked about the importance of these early years in particular the development of mental health. The Insta post amassed over 10,000 ‘likes’ in 60 minutes with royalists commenting on Kate’s advocacy. One royal fan wrote: “I can’t think of anything more important into which the world must invest time, effort and resources. Thank you, Princess of Wales!”
Another fan posted, “This is amazing,” while a third said, “So proud of my Princess’s dedication and hard work to secure a better future for every child in the nation.”

While at the school Kate encouraged the kids to keep talk about their feelings and noted, “I’m delighted to be supporting children’s mental health week yet again. It’s been wonderful to speak to so many children here about the importance of connections and the important people in their lives too.”
