It was a little disappointing for fans, especially those who are always looking forward to seeing what new fashion she’ll serve on the red carpet, to learn that Chrissy Teigen will not be accompanying her husband to the Grammys. But don’t worry, her husband totally understands, so no drama here.

On Sunday, the 53rd Grammy Awards came and went. There were so many dramatic moments associated with music’s biggest night that it’s impossible to keep count of, and oh, let’s not forget Shania Twain‘s bright red hair and multiple outfits at the event. Fans are still divided over what she looks like.

But even through all this, Teigen’s fans were not so easily distracted that they didn’t notice the absence of the model or that her “All Of Me” singer husband was without a date that night.

Opening up about the reason she skipped the event at the last minute, she shared a cute snap with fans on Instagram of her carrying her few weeks old baby Esti, who arrived in January. The model captioned the ridiculously cute snap, “happy grammy day!! had a dress fitting, looked around and realized ….what the hell am I trying to prove here. I cannot get up lol”.

Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe also went to her comment section to cheer her on, writing, “Stay right there beautiful Mommy.”

Bethenny Frankel added, “Not today”. And Amen to that, because we do need the cheeky model serving it hot on the red carpet another day. Early January, Chrissy Teigen announced the arrival of Esti Maxine Stephens, revealing that her older siblings, 6-year-old Luna and 4-year-old Miles, were already entranced by her.

Later, their dad confirmed this in an interview. “The kids are excited. We weren’t sure how they would take it,” he said. “I felt like they were a little jealous when Mommy was pregnant, but as soon as Esti arrived, they’re just exploding with love and joy, and they’re so caring and loving toward her.
